Thanks I'll try to find that. Reviews look solid. Any other suggestions by anyone else?

Looking for a portable upgrade from the Sennheiser PX 100-II that sounds more balanced and neutral

I agree with what's written on the PX 100-II product page that these headphones tend to sound like the mids and treble are a little veiled. The bass is indeed the frequency that stands out the most and I was hoping to upgrade to a portable pair that comes across as more balanced and neutral.  ...

Wharfedale Diamond 10.1 speakers powered by a Dared MP-5 - what's the consequence of being underpowered?

The reason I ask is that the 10.1s sound like they have significantly too much bass than I expected... big bloated bass. I was wondering if this could be because of the Dared.

Wharfedale Diamond 10.1 speakers powered by a Dared MP-5 - what's the consequence of being underpowered?

Hi.   I've just been gifted with a pair of Wharfedale Diamond 10.1 speakers, and I want to use them... but since I'm a headphone person, the only amp I have to use for powering them is a Dared MP-5.   The Wharfedales' recommended wattage is 20 - 100w.   The Dared's power is 13w.   So I'm...

How big is the difference in SQ when using Optical vs Coax vs USB? Negligible? Small? Significant? Huge?

A couple of other questions: 1) If I accidentally fry the D10 while opamp rolling (even using the chips they provided), that voids the warrany, no? 2) How long would you guys recommend using the D10 before opening it to do opamp rolling? Quote: Originally Posted by HiFlight...

Is it worth getting the D10 over the D3 even if you aren't planning to use the optical or coaxial?

From Paypal: "We've finished reviewing your unauthorized activity claim and you'll receive a refund for the transaction amount. It may take up to 5 business days for the funds to appear in your account." Woohoo! Oh, and about the security key, it's for US subscribers only

Darnit my Paypal got hacked! Need advice and hope that I can still get my money back...

Anyway, I just filed a chargeback/dispute claim with my bank and they acknowledged it. However, they will have to complete an investigation and rule in my favor before totally reversing the transaction. Still thinking of what I can do to resolve this faster and prevent it from happening in...

Should the PC volume controls be automatically disabled when using my USB-DAC?

Did I do the right thing here? 1) Downloaded ASIO4ALL_2_9_English.exe and foo_out_asio 2) Intalled ASIO4ALL and selected the USB DAC as the output device (there's an "X" because I'm currently listening using it on foobar) 3) Copied foo_out_asio.dll to the foobar components directory...

Should the PC volume controls be automatically disabled when using my USB-DAC?

Just something a friend pointed out recently: That I'm still able to control my PC volume via foobar and via the taskbar volume control (only using the Wave slider though) even though the USB DAC is already connected to the PC. My listening chain is currently: PC ---> DAC ---> AMP --->...
