Well, if you need TCM just plug it in and don't press any of the buttons. It is my understanding that the Geek Out doesn't store which mode to use when you plug it in and it defaults to TCM.

Beyerdynamic DT48-200, I'm home!   I really don't get how this headphone manages to be warm and still have that detailed treble and have a quite open, (but not necessarily diffuse) sound. Loving it for the moment.

I found the D2000 more subbassy. I don't know exactly what Dolby Surround is though. Is it a 3D spatial thing? If so the D2000 has pretty good separation.

Yes. That is normal as far as I know, especially with more sensitive headphones.

I have a DJ1 Pro same as Pro 550. The comfort isn't great. The earpads are a bit too shallow so the seal isn't great if you need great sound isolation.
