I accidently just washed my E530s and put them through the dryer. I opened the dryer and the E530s just fell out at my feet. They sound terrible now. Very "underwater" sounding even though they appear dry as far in as I can see. Do you think they will recover?

I accidently hit my Shure E4s with 9volts for around 10 seconds or so... miss wiring a pimeta. They still work and sound as good as new... I was very suprised. I noticed because they got really hot in my ear with no noise... wow....

Thanks a bunch. Removing the pads solved the problem and I think I like how it sounds more, but I'll have to experiment more tonight.

There is a slight buzz in the right ear whenever a heavy bass note hits in them. It's easily apparent in the right ear to the point when I know if I have them on backwards because of it. Is there some quick fix, or are they going back to Senn?

In my low?-fi system, I perfer the DEQ dac to my SB2s DAC or Onkyo's DAC....

I can never get my Shure E4's to stay around my ear, so I use them normally without hardly any problems.

I believe that theaters are actually calibrated (or should be) to Dolby standards and theaters should be the same level everywhere. I do love big loud sound in theaters, I've measured them before and they are only around 70-80 db normally with peaks in 105-110 for only a few seconds.

I went from 325is to 650s and I don't regret it for a minute. My 325is hurt my ears, like the highs were piercing and hurt, and the headphones wern't comfortable to wear. I haven't heard them in awhile so I can't comment beyond that, but I also didn't like their 32 ohm impedance. Waaay too...
