between the er6 and er6i, the er6i is much less fatiguing, more balanced, and doesn't have the annoying mid treble hump that the er6 has. I definitely prefer the er6i. Very tolerable unamped as well.

The least fatiguing closed can I have used is the beyer 250-80. The treble is a little rolled off, but this disappears after a few minutes, and they are very comfortable and non-fatiguing. I think the sony v6 will probably be recommended by some others, but I find that can more fatiguing...

Just my two cents. I wouldn't cross the 470 off the list completely. I have had two of them, and they both sounded fine. It seems however, that there is variation in quality depending on the unit you get. If you can still find the 460 anywhere, I really loved that unit.
