[REVIEW] Future Sonics Spectrum Series: G10 and impressions thread

I purchased the G10's, and they are the fourth Future Sonics I have owned. I started with the EM3, then to the Atrio M5, the Atrio MG7, and now the G10's. Throughout my journey with Future Sonics, with many other various earbuds sprinkled in along the way, the soundstage of Future Sonics never...

[REVIEW] Future Sonics Spectrum Series: G10 and impressions thread

I just found out about these a couple of days ago.   I have the EM3's, MG5's, and MG7's. Each has progressed nicely over the years, and they are by far the best well-rounded IEM's I have ever had.    I love my Atrio's, but I have to make the move to the G10's

    munitio teknines

I have the gold ones (just got them yesterday. Six+ hours of burn in and they are waking up. Not too shabby at all, although to this point I still like the sound of my Future Sonics Atrio M5's better. But, I got the 9mm for my Droid X since it has an inline mic. Honestly - a pretty nice sound...

Most recognizable Opening SECOND of any song?

The theme song to the old television show "Flipper" Many many (many) years ago, my then girlfriend (now wife) was in Florida with her younger sister and her parents. Her two older sisters were at home. I went out to a local bar one night with the two older sisters and got trashed. The DJ put...

Bit of a beef with ALO

As I read through this thread I was formulating my own comment, until I came to Ken's reply which then altered my thoughts. At the outset I thought the OP put forth his concernes in a non-derogatory way. Yet, when the person who these comments are about responds with "all you had to do was...

WFG - World Financial Group - Opinions?

My feelings on any of these types of "professions" is that a very small percentage of those who are active do make a decent living. it takes a huge amount of sacrifice and commitment, and the risks are much higher than receiving a paycheck (of course, any job is at risk). These pyramid schemes...

    Vacation time! Who's doing what?

I stated before I am going to Las Vegas this Saturday. Can't wait. We added another 3-day jaunt. Since my son can't make it to Vegas (he's never been), we feel bad. So when we get back, the following weekend (including Friday), we are taking our son and his fiance up to Montreal. We will take...

    Tragic Bridge Collapse in Minneapolis

Unbelievable. You hear stories all of the time of the disrepair of bridges and highways in the US. This bridge was opoened in the late 1960's. I can't believe only the extra weight of the resurfacing going on was enough to buckle/collapse the bridge. I just hope those who were hurt recover...

    Is this for real?

If this did work, how would it work? Does every piece of audio equipment (or any for that matter) have the ability to be upgraded like cell phones do? Is it at all possible to somehow modify the "motherboard" of audio equipment to push out better specs then out of the box? I honestly can't...

Anyone looking forward to KORN tomorrow?

I just saw the Family Values tour this past Friday at the Tweeter Center in Mansfield, MA. The concert really came down to 2 acts, and I can't believe I'm saying this, but Evanescence was the best. This was the 3rd time I've seen Korn, and I was very much looking forward to it. I haven't...

IEM's for a Metal fan and PX100 lover

I listen mostly to metal music. I have the Atrio M5's and would highly recommend them to anybody. These IEM's handle all styles of music and with ease. The punch and depth I get listening to Opeth or Dimmu Borgir is amazing considering I'm listening to IEM's.

    "Favorite" vs. "Best" Albums

Nice to see you using Opeth as your example, them being my favorite band. But yes, favorite versus best can most definately be different. My favorite album is Blackwater Park by Opeth. Is it the best album ever? If you go and google various websites about "best" albums, you will see that with...

Led Zeppelin - actually, I had tickets to see them in Montreal but Bonham decided to die right before the concert. Other bands I wish I had seen (and I mean in their prime, as some bands tour 30 years after i.e. Rolling Stones, etc) or hope to see soon Aerosmith Godsmack Metallica (I'm not...

    From Classical to Metal

This thread is interesting, and sometimes it seems more like a heated religious disucssion than a discussion about music. That's Ok though, because it shows the passion many of us have for music. We want to defend our realm, the music we individually deem significant to our own lives. Here's...

    Who's "done"?

I don't think I'll ever be done, but right now I expect to have many years of service with my current portable rig. Now, my >10 year old Yamaha RX-V2090 receiver with the Yamaha DDP-2 dolby digital decoder may need an upgrade soon.
