Warm, Smooth bassy IEM for iPhone 7
Hey all, My lovely RHA mha750i's have died :( Cable failure. I am now looking for a replacement, especially now that I have just purchased a new phone, the iPhone 7 Plus. I'm looking for a warm, smooth and bassy (a little more bass than the RHAs would be welcome). I actually don't mind the...- provoked

What to buy next - after GR07 and JVC HA-FXZ 100?
Actually. After a fair bit of research yesterday I ended up narrowing it down to the Dunu dn1000 or the RHA MA750. Any help with deciding between them? From what I've read the dn1000 may be somewhat clearer but less smooth? I do like the ruggedness of the RHAs. Also - thanks for the...- provoked

What to buy next - after GR07 and JVC HA-FXZ 100?
Hi All, In short - had the GR07s, loved them, one of the buds died and then moved to the FXZ-100, loved them too but they died when I dropped the phone and bent the jack the other day. I've considered repairing - but not sure it's worth it and wouldn't mind a new set. I love the clarity on...- provoked

Nevermind. Cancelled the order and did it properly. Weird though - with this new order I can now see the buttons to change the order details. These puppies are on their way - hopefully they'll make me forget all about the lucky person that probably found my GR07s on the train.- provoked

JVC HA-FXZ 100/200
Well. I pulled the trigger. Ended up buying from Amazon Japan with delivery to Tenso, then to Australia. Problem is - stupidly left the billing address the same as the delivery address and for the life of me I can't change it! I'm concerned my CC company might I.D it as fraud... grrrr.- provoked

JVC HA-FXZ 100/200
These look brilliant. I have just misplaced my beloved GR07's and have been in mourning for 3 days. Logged in here and saw a reference to these as an alternative to the GR07s. How do they compare? Is it a worthy replacement? Has anyone had them shipped to Australia?- provoked

Should I upgrade my Sennheiser HD515s?
OK. Went to the local HiFi store, who have the HD558 boxed, as well as dozens of other headphones. However, they wouldn't let me listen to them even with a $300 price tag. Anyone from Australia know where I could test these out? It turns out my staff shop where I work sells these for...- provoked

Should I upgrade my Sennheiser HD515s?
Hi All, Basically, I want to start using headphones to watch moves and play Xbox in the lounge room. Wife isn't too thrilled with the sounds of war coming from the lounge, so have been using my 515's for this purpose. Now, as I am a tech geek, and love shiny toys and nice sound, I...- provoked

Guys - without reading the entire thread. Is the Lendmeurears EBay shop a trustworthy source for the GR07's? I'm from Australia, so feel free to suggest alternatives that ship to Australia if lendmeurears Ebay shop isn't any good. Finally decided on these puppies and as well all do, I want...- provoked

IEMs for maximum $130-$140 AUD ($145 USD) Australia
Quote: You're killing me kiteki! :) Running off to read a UE700 review now... Tell me, however, regarding isolation, fit and noise issues regarding the EX600s. Are they accurate? Also - just read another review on the 215s and I'm starting to like them more. I certainly love...- provoked

IEMs for maximum $130-$140 AUD ($145 USD) Australia
Update! So I've read a few reviews of the GR07 and EX600. In a nutshell, I like the "sound" of both, but concerned about the fitting of the EX600 and their reported low isolation and noise levels when outdoors. If these prove true, than I would be tending towards the GR07. Then the...- provoked

IEMs for maximum $130-$140 AUD ($145 USD) Australia
Quote: I will mainly be using them on the train 5 days a week, so sound isolation is welcome. I often have one bud in my ear at work (don't ask, I've NEVER been able to focus/function without music). And yes, have read some review (will probably read a few more tonight when I get home)...- provoked

IEMs for maximum $130-$140 AUD ($145 USD) Australia
Thanks for the replies everyone. I'm still undecided, and looks like I'm tossing up between the Shure 215i, UE700, EX600 and the GR07 (a little on the price side). I'm not an expert on audio so I'm somewhat confused now. What would be the ultimate difference between these headphones...- provoked

Choosing my 1st pair of "nice" IEM's
I'm no expert - but my 2c. You'll see my post here too - I've owned my s4i's for just over 1.5 years, and although I've enjoyed the sound (even though they're not always the clearest, but the bass is fun), I've found the build quality to be not the greatest. Mainly the cable, the wire is...- provoked
