Hi All,

In short - had the GR07s, loved them, one of the buds died and then moved to the FXZ-100, loved them too but they died when I dropped the phone and bent the jack the other day.

I've considered repairing - but not sure it's worth it and wouldn't mind a new set. I love the clarity on the GR07, but also enjoyed the bass on the FXZ-100s, they were just "fun" (can't find the right word, but close enough) to listen to.

Looking for something somewhere in the middle (?), GR07 type clarity with good punch. Considered going GR07BE but the build quality on the Vsonics isn't great. The JVC's maybe, but not the most comfortable fit as they stick out a fair bit.

So - any suggestions? I listen to rock to indie folk type of music, i.e. Coldplay, U2, Of Monsters and Men, Mumford & sons, The Lumineers, The Temper Trap etc. Wanting something a little more durable than the GR07s. I'd prefer unamped. Looking from something in the $100 - $200 AUD range.

Cheers!

Have a read about the RHA MA750, they're built strong, have the bass and clarity you're looking for.

They're $179 AUD in Melbourne from Addicted to Audio.

Actually. After a fair bit of research yesterday I ended up narrowing it down to the Dunu dn1000 or the RHA MA750.

Any help with deciding between them? From what I've read the dn1000 may be somewhat clearer but less smooth?

I do like the ruggedness of the RHAs.

Also - thanks for the tip on Addicted to Audio!

I personally preffered Dunu DN-1000 over RHA MA750. I was thinking of your build quality needs first and principal.
