New Soul Combat with Comply Pads
I just saw this on Comply's Facebook page. Soul released a new over-ear headphone, the Soul Combat+. They're trying to market cans to people who are active. Maybe it's just me, but I'd never run with cans on, no matter how good the seal is against my ears/head. Here is the link They...- Shark

Noisesero with Comply Pads!
That's awesome. I'm jealous! Seeing the pads on the M-80 would be smart, but the M-100 and any over-ear cans would killer for V-Moda, or anyone else. I'm sure Skullcandy is going to jump on the pads once they get their hands on a sample and have a new few sets of can planned.- Shark

Noisesero with Comply Pads!
Forget my other questions/concerns/whatevers, I forgot the brand's name. I've used these earphones before — review link — and they were amazing. Now that I realize what's going on (my bad) I am pumped about this. Can't wait to see what comes next- Shark

Industry Slowing Down?
Hey, Head-Fi. I wanted to throw the idea out there and get your feelings on the subject. It appears the audio market, particularly the in-ear market, has slowed down a lot in the last year. Excluding the ******-baggery of CES and celebrity earphones, I'm not seeing much new stuff. ...- Shark

comfortable, flush, active noise cancelling IEM
Check out Audio-Technica. They have one or a few styles for it, like the ANC23. There are a couple other brands that have it, but I'm drawing a blank right now- Shark

UE 700 - Comply Foams don't fit?
I don't think Comply will make a tip specifically for it. I remember seeing some posts a while back about the sound port difference with pictures and everything (I couldn't find it) and the Comply person said the new design just wouldn't work. Something about the flat ring sound port instead of...- Shark

UE 700 - Comply Foams don't fit?
The reason is because UE changed the sound port design, rendering it no longer compatible with Comply. It make negative business sense for them to include the tip any longer with that model, but the world doesn't make sense sometimes. You're SOL, my friend.- Shark

Sourcing comply TS100 in europe ?
You'd have to buy a EU set (ts is included in 500, 600, 900) or buy straight from Comply's site; no resellers carry that "model" of tip as far as I can tell- Shark

CALLING ALL COMPLY FOAM TIP OWNERS! NEED YOUR INPUT. POLL.

CALLING ALL COMPLY FOAM TIP OWNERS! NEED YOUR INPUT. POLL.
I guarantee they won't do it. Look at their site and put together the number of skus they have already, then assume they have double that number that is for other markets, etc. Adding an option for multi-color packs, which sounds amazingly easy, is going to be a bigger headache than necessary...- Shark

What size Comply foam tips for the Astrotec AM-90?
they say that because they test each earphone with their tips to make sure the tips don't fall off in your ear, then they take a photo of it for the website. I don't know what the sound port is like for those earphones, so I won't be much help. The 400 size of comply tips is the average sound...- Shark

IEM $100-$200
both earphones have small sounds ports, allowing them to go deeper in the ear. Plus, I use comply tips on both, so the isolation is about the same. For sound, I like the S4 signature better.- Shark

Is it a bad idea to use an IEM while working out?
I use IEMs to workout all of the time. I don't use my nicest earphones, but I usually stick with my B2 or M4 by brainwavz. I'm usually more worried about them catching on my elbow, the iem coming out, and me stepping on it while running... that's happened twice. Luckily I was using Skullcandy...- Shark

Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 Thread
I just got a new set of these, completely ignoring all of the MANY cable comments I've seen over the years. I feel so stupid! The cable is awful and I don't trust myself to be able to properly change it. What a waste of money. Anyone want to buy mine? I prefer my x10- Shark

RedGiant: A Supernova in the Making?
Nice write up... BUT... I've spent time with all of these (I recently left the industry) and they are not impressive. They SHOULD be, but they are not. Not only are they disappointing in every way, they are enormous, ridiculously enormous! If you already own any nice IEMs, stick with them...- Shark
