Sony Z1R....listening impressions only
Yeah, the seller also got em for that price, so he bags a little profit. I was working all day on Black Friday, so I didn’t notice the offer at the time. Oh well, still cheap, and with full warranty as well.- Fadamacka

Sony Z1R....listening impressions only
Thanks. Bought them off a gentleman who picked em up here in Norway in the Black Friday sales. He opened the box and decided they were not for him.- Fadamacka

The Official Sony MDR-Z1R Flagship Headphone Thread (Live From IFA 2016)
The statements above are a bit worrying for me. I am on the brink of ordering a pair, and one of the major selling points of the z1r for me is the fact that they're closed. I will be using them in front of my computer at home, where I currently use a fan. Today I am using a pair of dt770s which...- Fadamacka

I came to realize it was my hd-580
I'd open up the cans to make sure there was no hair stuck in them. Unless this is your excuse to get better cans!- Fadamacka

Just received my Baby Orpheus
Hmm. Might as well post this since the thread was awakened anyway. Bought a pair of Baby Orpheus today. Then we'll see if they are any good compared to V2/HP2- Fadamacka

my new setup.
*jaw drops* Nice setup man! But seriously. For those bucks, ever thought of a speaker setup? EDIT: That sounded weird and offensive. Absolutely no pun intended. Still, speakers create an, IMHO, more realistic sound.- Fadamacka

t00bed amp for Grado HP2
Hi again... I decided to go with a Gilmore V2, so talk about ignoring the tips! Gilmore seems like a decent bet, so we'll see when it gets here. BTW, just for interest, how does this amp fare with the RS1? Thinking about buying a pair of those as well, to go with my HP1k.- Fadamacka

t00bed amp for Grado HP2
Hi again... I'm currently looking at a Melos SHA-1. (Seems like a very safe bet...) I'm in Norway though, so i would have to use a step down transformer. Would this degrade sound greatly? Is there an easy way to convert the melos from 110V to 220V? Thanks, Fadamacka- Fadamacka

t00bed amp for Grado HP2
Hi I am finally looking at buying an amp for my beloved Grado Hp2's. I have looked at the Gilmore lite, but I wanna try something with tubes. Is there any contenders out there that will match the hp2's pretty nicely? If not, i'll prolly be looking at SS amps. Same pricerange. My budget is at...- Fadamacka

Melos for Lazy Viking?
I see that theres a Melos Maestro on the used section, and it comes with two remotes. Is this the only edition that has the remote, or does the SHA-1 have that feature too? I know that the sound is prolly better on the maestro, but i can't afford it right now, so i think i'll settle on a...- Fadamacka

Grados and a Corda?
Well, youre the only one that can decide, really. I use HP2's, and find the 0 ohm output to be the best in my ears. Now, I cannot stress the importance of listening yourself.- Fadamacka

Many people listen to headphones because they cannot afford this quality in speakers.
Uhm, I cannot see any ML amps there, "only" Gryphon (SS Class A), Cary (Tubed), and Accuphase. Nice setup tho- Fadamacka
