Hello, Haven't posted or been here for a few years but I want to paint my HD800's black now, exactly like the HD800S, but I'm wondering if anyone knows how to keep the lettering on them? Also is there a way to even make them white to contrast the black like the HD800S? Thanks

What revisions are these headphones at now? Haven't been on here in a long time, are they still using the revision 2's as the prime he-400?

Woh, I emailed him to before I read this, so I pretty much placed an order for two tiny pieces of memory foam for £47/$60?!  wow, I'm not sure if I want to go through with it anymore :/, better to do it DIY with one memory foam pillow to make many ,    Seriously though now, im thinking this...

Been following this thread for some time, would love to try these but I already have the K702 which I already find fantastic, also was planning to reluctantly sell my HE40, and my other headphones to get the funds for a pair of HD800/T1 which didn't go as planned and they have been in the box...

Just realised that after all this time that I've had my M-Stage, I just never considered connecting it to my Astro Mixamp PRO for my PS3 (via optical). Now i'm thinking how do i go round doing this? -Cant think at the moment-..

  I also personally found your competitive score for the HE400 rather high for what it produced.. especially when compared to the AKG K702. Your results with the headphones I have tried are pretty accurate to be fair :).

Thanks for the reply, but I did not once say I was going to be pairing these up with the Mixamp, let alone to just the PS3 alone  . (That seems to me at what your getting at anyway) Not all gaming is done on the console you know . But yes, I would still be using them on the PS3 and PC anyway...

Hmm, I was looking forward to his review too . I've messaged him plenty of times since then, and none have been returned . Anyway, its not that I have trouble hearing footsteps etc. (in fact I don't have trouble at all), I actually just want something that is overall better than what I have...

I love everything my AKG K702 does, its probably the longest headphones I've owned out of my inventory of headphones. - Even compared to newer headphones I've been getting, the AKG K702 seem always to be used most.   Now I'm thinking should I make the move to the Sennheiser HD800 now...
