I just got my X3. Everything is going good. I just had a question regarding FW. Is it necessary to have an empty microsd X3 formatted card in order to install the FW or can you just have it on a X3 formatted card with other tunes? Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I was just thinking in terms that I knew I am eventually going to want an amp and I was just trying to find a pretty versatile pair. I know the x3 works well on its own and I like the looks of the x1. I know the x1 needs some oomph to get it close to the x3. Just babbling...

I have just been hearing that they are good, but that they are a little over rated. I really want them, but if there something better I was willing to listen. Have you heard the Tma-1's? How do they compare to the m50's?

Are they really that bad?   I have the TMA-1 and for IEM I am currently using Soundmagic e10. i did just order the vsonic vc02 for another set of different iems's. I also have the NU-Force NE-6 and superfi5, i believe. i do listen to all sorts of tunes and was looking at buying the m50's...

I was just wondering what settings people are using to eq these bad boys? I use foobar most of the time with these and occasionally the clip+. I am just seeing if there is a better setting that others might be using. Thanks
