I am from India. I have ordered FiiO x1 with v sonic GR 07 from USA. How's this combo?

Hi there,I am using the Gr07 Classic with the X1 and to my ears it sounds fantastic! It is slightly on the warm and smooth side of things with wonderful texture in the mids. I also detect much less sibliance compared to when the Gr07 is running from my Xperia Z2.
 
I particularly enjoy any kind of drum sounds with this combo as it sounds very natural and quite life like.

I use Apple lossless all the time now but found you must use error correction. This to my ear, really makes a difference. And if you want it is easy enough to change it to a WAV file but when done with error correction, I find no advantage to FLAC as I used to. 
 
The X1 does great with the good files and is easy to use.

1) Thats the jds labs ultra short IC cable and love to buy if FiiO ventures too.....just like other cable accessories.

2) I think no one wld say no coz its a nice clor match and so boost the sales of both....

i know it has been hashed, but i am coming from a clip+ and a samsung media player.
 
I have all my music in FLAC already. I do have shure 215's, vsonic vsd1's, Audio technica ath50's, and aiai tma-1. I want to take the next step.
I like this combo of the X1 and e11k. I have read reviews that say the x3 still beats this combo. is that true?
 
also if I would go with the x3 due to it having more to it, is there a combo with the x3 that gets it close to the x5 without dropping 349.00?
 
I am just trying to cover all my bases.

You'll get more results by upgrading your IEM's. I'm running Shure SE535's straight out of X1 and they sound amazing on well recorded tracks.

The talk about colour matched E11K got me seriously considering it. If you do release one, you can count me in!

I realize the e12A is larger than the X1 but it sounds very good in combination and the grey metallic of the e12a and the silver of the X1 look cool together.
