im just listening to a 1540 and im a little bit disappointed, i guess they need an amp to get the best out of the soundstage? just listening via macbook and smartphone//tablet and its nowhere like the soundmagic hp100/150 that i had. "massive" sounds like you can compare them to a good open...

can somebody say something about the soundstage? in comparison to others maybe also?  

do you consider these have also the "senn veil" to some degree? i can remember that i liked that on my former hd650.   what is the size of your ears? maybe better to ask, whats the size of the cups inside?

i owned a cop, the pads are not really on the soft side. not really an improvement.

i dont know, but you seem to have maybe different models? no way i could stretch these so far, they will rip when i do and still missing like 3cm until the edge of the cup.. ill send them back tomorrow.     so i need other replacement pads with more depth and good isolation, any ideas?

my hm5 pads just arrived, but wot??? completely different size and shape to the original hp 100 pads, no way to stretch them over the cups! i dont get it, did they send some wrong pads?  

how about the isolation, also the same as stock? what do you think comfort wise?

just took a look at the first post, no way the cop are in that club, they are pretty forward. could you maybe make some kind of hierarchy/comparison from the ones you tested?   how about the hp100?

thanks for the read, but did you compare the 425 in terms of isolation directly to the 420, maybe they isolate even better like the headroom graph suggests? if you say the tips have to go deeper into the ear that seems the case. could you sleep with the 420 or were they too bulky?

having the same problem, but for me isolation and can be driven without amp is imperative. did you find something? what are you using today?

when clicking on an thumbnail in an ad, nothing happens. i am using opera 10.60 i have nothing blocked and javascript is enabled.   suggestions: indication where the item is located us/eu/jp etc. and the pricetag should be in the correponding currency.
