New custom IEM company - Custom Art: discussion, review, and impressions thread
For what it's worth, I got my impressions done with a hearing aid audiologist as well (for $5). In India, no audiologist even knows about the existence of CIEMs, so it took a while to convince them to do something different than what they are used to. As long as they are willing to follow Custom...- esanthosh

Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)
I think ljokerl did not include them because 991 Carrera 4S mentioned 'slightly brighter'. I have only tried SE535 (both CL and LTD-J versions) and currently own the Noble 4C (not the N4) among the IEMs you mentioned. I don't think either of them fit the 'slightly brighter'...- esanthosh

Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)
ljokerl, Thanks to your review of Noble 4S, I finally got my first Custom IEM, Noble 4C. It took me a while to insert and remove them at first, but I am getting used to it. My first few minutes with it reminded me so much about Hifiman IEMs. Though they did not wow me at first, they...- esanthosh

Roll call: Indians staying in India, interested in high end headphones/IEMS
It's still left to the discretion of the custom official. I have been charged once for an item marked as gift. While the actual value was very less, the box size was bigger :) I agree with @kothganesh. I have been charged duty on ordinary airmail only 3 times in the last 4 years, but...- esanthosh

Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)
The one you are talking about is the old MH1 version (I asked on the other forum via PM) and not the MH1C. Probably may not work with your phone. @ljokerl Any chance that JH13FP is #300? I am looking forward to S1 and S2 reviews as well (as well as TF10 review you promised. Sorry...- esanthosh

[ REVIEW / COMPARISON ] Two Flagships Pass in the Night: Sony XBA-4 Review VS the MDR-EX1000 [Updated with 7550 and XBA-40!]
Quote: Yes, Please! Quote: Probably Sony engineers tuned it using their own players rather than ones with low OI. If you refer to GoldenEars and Rin's analysis, adding impedance makes XBAs relatively linear. I have XBA-3 which sounds better with a slightly higher...- esanthosh

Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)
Quote: Just to be clear, I did buy it at the authorized Sony dealer for $145. Even at that time, plenty of online shops (and eBay) have carried XBA-3 for slightly less than the MSRP ($140). Sony does offer one year replacement warranty as long as the buyer has an invoice and a Sony...- esanthosh

Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)
In India, XBA-3 is available for as low as ₹6600 ($120). Even the official price is only $145. Granted that it's more on account of the currency depreciation, it is still a decent choice for those who want to avoid the hassles of shipping and customs. But one is open to taking a little risk...- esanthosh

The FiiO X3 Thread UPDATE: Project Back On! Read the First Post for Information.
Quote: +1 I've been waiting for a decent transport without the disadvantages of my QA350 v2 for a long time. An easy to navigate UI, battery life of 10-15 hours and basic file format support (FLAC, WAV, MP3) is all I ask. Even if it did not have internal memory, I can manage fine...- esanthosh
