More detail, please. I own the RS2e, which I love. I have been thinking of upgrading it to the RS2x...the only thing that has stopped me from making the change is the new cable. I sold my HF3 because I hated the cable.- elvergun

I prefer the sound (and look) of my RS2e over many flagships that cost thousands of dollars (have not heard everything, but I've heard a few). I think my GH2 sounds better than my HD800 (I can detect the fact that the Sennheiser is a better headphone). If you want something better than...- elvergun

I did this for many years and though that I was happy...until the day I purchased an RS2e. I'm still kicking myself for waiting so long....and for believing that the SR80 was good enough to be happy. I guess that what you don't know wont hurt you. Ignorance is bliss. I now suffer from a...- elvergun

This!!! But don't try the PX100II if you are looking for the King. I don't understand why companies mess around with a successful model. The PX100 was legendary -- I still own two sets, one of them is still brand new.- elvergun

No buzzing issues with my pair. I think you might have purchased a defective unit. My GW100x sounds much, much better than any SR series model I've ever heard (it is in the same ballpark as the RS and the GH series).- elvergun

So it's pretty cool this morning (no need for AC) and I'm using my RS2e. I don't even feel like listening to music right now...but I know it's going to be hot in the afternoon... :scream:- elvergun

Yes...because the Beyer drowns out the noise of my air conditioner. But I might be able to still use my Grados in the morning before my house gets too hot.- elvergun

I have to put away my Grados for the summer. Today I had to turn on the air conditioner for the first time this year...and I have a vent right above my computer (where I do most of my listening). The T5p offers great isolation, so that's the headphone I'll be forced to use for the next 3 or...- elvergun

I read in a review of the V1 that the BT functionality (distance and quickness of pairing) was not very good. I think it might be time for TooFrank to upgrade his GW100 to the X version. You will get better BT features...and I'm willing to bet (from what I've read) that you will also get...- elvergun

I'm still enjoying my GW100x greatly. I love this thing -- it is probably my favorite Grado. I sold my GS3000e. I will buy the GS3000x, but I'm thinking of playing around with the RS2x first...unless someone thinks this is a bad idea...- elvergun

It will sound even better in a couple of days. Unless I'm imagining things, my pair was great out of the box, but now it sounds even better. Grado did a really fine job of tuning the drivers. I'm almost at the point where I would be willing to declare that I like the GW100x better than...- elvergun

Yeah, like I said, I was blown away. I'm glad you liked it!!! This is a really great headphone. Even if didn't have BT, it would still be worth the asking price.- elvergun
