How are the Sennheiser HD 595?
I wouldn't call them exactly Bass light compared to the likes of my K701 but I don't think they suit your type of music.- Jbossner

Attention Motorcyclists! Good Riding Headphones?
Maybe you should have a look at Sennheiser's sports range, they seem to fit your needs pretty well. There durable for sports as there sweat resistant, they comfortable as they have those "hooks" and they should have pretty good sound quality. An example is the Mx85 Or the Mx 680- Jbossner

best headphone...PERIOD
I'm surprised not many people spoke of the JH-3A. Everyone that Demo'd them seemed to think there amazing. They may not be out yet but should be shipping in a few days. They should blow away any other IEM on the market and will be on par with Top end headphones such as the LCD-2- Jbossner

is this a good soundcard?
It depends what your after, If you purely just want audio quality for headphones or something then get something from the Asus Xonar series. But if you have like a 5.1 speaker system and want gaming and home thearte effects than grab the X-fi Titanium. definitely don't get the Gamer though for...- Jbossner

what is an ssd
Its similar to the Drives in Ipods and Phones now, Flash Memory. There really good for boot drives, as Hard Drives are the biggest bottleneck for most systems. We have had Skulltrail and Crossfire for ages and where only just getting into fast hard Drives :/- Jbossner

Thinking of getting K701's (noobish questions inside)
I Used my K702 unamped and without a Dac while they where getting shipped and all i can say you will get better sound out of something like Sennheiser 595 unamped then k70x unamped. They had no Bass, and sounded very boring. Don't Waste your money and grab something that is more suited to...- Jbossner

Gaming headphone choice.
I'm not sure if you read the bottom of my post or not, but if the currency was out i suggested the G35 which should be a lot cheaper. Quote:- Jbossner

Gaming headphone choice.
Have a look at the ATH-AD700's there pretty well regarded in gaming and are also cheap. But regarding the above post I think they are better at positioning footsteps ect rather then just total immersion. So if your looking for a good competative edge then these phones should be checked out. ...- Jbossner

HD 595 to K701 or not?
I disagree in saying the K701/K702's are bad for movies and games, sure there isnt a large amount of bass but the soundstage in games is hard to beat, and movies sounds much more involving as they do an exellant job in positioning the sounds and effects. I play a decent amount of games for...- Jbossner

HD 595 to K701 or not?
I went from the 595 to the k702, my main advice is that if you want to do this upgrade you can't cheap out on amps and dacs. The k702 beats the 595 in every way IF you have the source and power to run it. If you dont have a good amp you wont get much bass or volume and without a dac you wont get...- Jbossner

Brisbane, Australia meet [July]
I should be able to come, and bring DacMagic, Keces Ha-171, K702, Cowon S9 and Triple Fi 10's. Are you able to try other people's custom IEM's? And how long do these meets usually go for?- Jbossner

Meier Cantate Vs Swing + DAC
Hey guys I cant figure out what would be the best option for me. Firstly I have to say that I have $210 store credit at Headphonic in Aus, so one of my purcheses has to be from there. I just bought my K702's which really need an amp and a DAC. My budget is $650 Aus. My options are either just...- Jbossner

Newbie needs advice (AKG?)
I definitely recommend going to IEM's, There so much more practical when traveling. It fits what you want perfectly IMO, no one can hear them, there cheap (well for most people), and really portable. If your worried about fit get some that have Foam tips, you wont even feel them in your ear.- Jbossner

First Headphones HD595 vs SRH840
Hey guys, due to not going with Unique Melody for my triple.fi's i had some spare cash to spend on some headphones. So after some research I ended up with the Sennheiser HD595's. I've done some burn in on them with about 20hours, and i am really disapointed with them. I dont think this is...- Jbossner

Unique Melody or TF10 vs Se530
Hey thanks great reply Alright I just had a quick glance at JH and livewires, JH seems out of my price range, but I can afford a triple driver from liverwire. The only problem with livewire is the warrenty. If i get a high and earphone i need warrenty in australia. Another thing, how are...- Jbossner
