Need a full-size DAC/Amp. Nothing fancy, just need something to transport audio from my PS3. Will be driving a DT880-600ohm, and power them to a decent level. Let me know if there's no chance of such a thing ever being created or tell me your suggestions. Can a simple reciever do it?

Our school gave us new laptop's this year, and as a clean slate i decided to use it for music. The 3.5mm jack isn't working, whether they did that to prevent us from listening to headphones in class, i don't know. Some of my classmates' 3.5mm out works just fine. I'm getting a mini USB DAC soon...

And there is a large amount of static appearing. Not really at any spesific sound frequency, but maybe those that are the loudest. Could this be because of some ****ty ass broken cd player on my PC? I cant think of any other reason why this would happen.

Will be driving the HD 650, and probably some electrocompaniet loudspeakers. I just want inputs on amps that function well for both purposes. Listen to a lot of electronic music, some lounge and alternative, and really dont like my tunes too bright.

Whats the fuzz about saying that iTunes' 256 kb/s isn't good enough?

It seems that my right ear is a lot more sensitive and i would like to change the L/R balance, but cant find where to do it in iTunes, which is what i use.

Is the Opamp/buffer u want supposed to go into a dummy adapter before you put it into the amp? And as well, there is a half circle marked at the Opamp i'm going to put in. I assume that that circle should match up with the circle cut out on the dummy adapter so that its alligned the right way...
