Agreed that the 1950s is indeed rather versatile. It has equally well synergy with the Phantom and Noble's Katana (with rather different character on their own).

Generally speaking the 1960s has more emphasis on the lower mids and bass, while 1950s is relatively colder and more airy. It depends on what you want to achieve.

It is a matter of perception and preference and there is no point in seeking a proof as such, as there is no right or wrong answer. How much money a person is willing to invest in cables is entirely a personal choice, and I don't see the point in challenging that.

Why do people need to prove to you that cables do provide changes to the sound? If you don't believe / can't hear the difference that's fine but there are so many other people, including myself, who use cables to tune the sound of their systems.

I can notice hiss from my Katana connected to my 1Z too, either single ended or balanced, using a variety of cables. But the hiss is acceptable for me.

Suggest you check the seal on both sides as well as the polarity of the cables on the iems (red or blue dot facing backwards)

I actually have the K10 too and have tried the SW22 on it but I use the Katana a lot more. Yes I also think the SW22 is indeed more bassy than other cables I have tried!

I am very interested to hear your feedback on the sonic difference between the Linum and your SW22. I am using SW22 too and find it having great synergy with my Katana (which is a bit of surprise as I initially thought it would be too bright, but it's not!)
