    AcousticMatt is a great seller. Easy communication. Very quick shipping. The Abyss Diana MRs were well packaged and Matt included the extra case and headband pad that Abyss sent him mistakenly. I wouldn't hesitate to transact with Matt again.

    Thanks for the responses. I have an incoming MR with the non-ported Vegan pads. I'll give those some time and love until deciding whether to look into either of the bass-ported options, though from what I'm reading, perhaps the bass-ported lambskin will offer the best of both worlds.

    I know this is old news on Headfi, but I'm a proponent of the Triple Flanges cut down to double by cutting off the smallest (tipmost) flange. Great fit, seal, comfort and sound for just about any IEM.

    "Paper Tiger" from Beck's "Sea Change" is a track I often use as a sort of benchmark for headphones.  Sounds great on my Senn HD650 (Cardas Cable) on my Gilmore Lite w/Dedicated Power Supply - no matter the source.

    I didn't get a good fit on these before trying them with the modded triple flange:   1. Cut off the smallest flange, flush to the start of the middle flange.   2. Cut the stem past the largest flange, flush to the largest flange.

    I wouldn't mess with any kind of adhesive repair.  Going to be pretty challenging NOT to get glue into the apertures. Sounds like a remold into customs is your best/safest bet.

    Given what I'd been using leading up to my first more-significant headphone purchase, I'd have to say it was the Grado SR-60 - (I had been listening to the AKG 400 unamped and though it sounded nice, the 60 really grabbed me).
