Bob, any thoughts on the Teradak Bladelius vs. DC-30 Touch? Is the Bladelius new? I started a thread on the DIY board just to see what happens: http://www.head-fi.org/t/803109/looking-to-make-a-linear-regulated-5-volt-power-supply-suggestions-please#post_12458576 Bladelius...- robertsong

XMOS XU208 USB BRIDGES - THE LATEST GEN HAS ARRIVED!
Hi rb2013, would it be possible to power an iFi iPurifier or Singxer F-1 with this Teradak DC-30W even if the output is 5V 3A instead of the classic 5V 0,5A of the usb bus? If yes what cable do you use? if I understand correctly the DC-30W comes with a DC Cable only thanks!- wakka992

If it takes 12v DC and < 1.5A, you can get a Teradak DC-30w 12V DC version(there is a AC version, be careful). It is better than a lot of linear power supplies and not cheap. Either from ebay/aliexpress or from the Teradak producer official store on taobao.com(Teradak(少帅音响)). And its official...- newabc

DC-30W has better parts including an R-core transformer. Its voltage is also adjustable (I don't know if the X1 is adjustable). I am using one with USB Regen + F1 and it sounds excellent.- somestranger26

XMOS XU208 USB BRIDGES - THE LATEST GEN HAS ARRIVED!
Well you are right the DC-30w can be set for 5VDC - but does not have a USB port. You would have to get a 2.5mm to USB adapter cable. Or you could get a cheaper iUSB2.0 and set the DC-30w to 9VDC to power it. The iUSB2.0 has a USB power port. You could add a iPurifier2 to it and a DC...- rb2013

Valab NOS DAC - subjective listening and modifications
...3.0 circuit board could also be made available to us legacy Valab DAC owners). Aesthetically it would be 'really nice' if both the TeraDak DC-30W and 'new' TeraDak DAC have identical looking cases. Thanks for all the microRendu reports. As another point of PS reference (this is for my W4S Recovery USB device) I recently compared a Kingrex uPower battery power supply to a TeraDak 30W, both with and without using the iFi DC iPurifier. The TeraDak showed noticeable improvement, especially in...- motberg

This is the basic one of DC-30w, $84 with shipping to US today. Teradak has a very long history on low voltage DC linear power supply. https://www.ebay.com/itm/TeraDak-DC-30W-FPGA-12V-1-5A-Linear-Power-Supply/183841406285?hash=item2acdcd3d4d:m:mabVZVSaWwTCyRG_gIbV51w- newabc

Ok ordered up a few dozen Nichicon HW's and Pannie FR 25V 1600uf caps to begin the TeraDak R-Core DC-30W modding. These very low impedance and high PSRR caps should be a nice improvement over the cheapo generic ones TeraDak uses. Each DC-30W takes 10 caps. Wish I could find those Pannie...- rb2013

iFi Zen Stream: Setup, Tips, Tricks...
The female barrel connector on the Zen Stream is 5,5mm x 2,1mm. The typical DC power cord that comes with a Teradak LPS is a 5,5mm x 2,5mm male barrel plug with two tiny springs that makes it fit a female 2,1mm connector. It can be used in the Zen Stream, but will not be optimal. It will be a...- greenblured

Rb- I think the better DC 30 power supply though you show here is for DC only eh? And I use the Teradak X1 for the power leg of my split USB cable for the F-1 and the PUC. http://ifi-audio.com/portfolio-view/accessory-ipower/ iFi has a 12V 1.8A iPower thinking of getting that for the Startech LAN REX or a DC iPurifer to use on the stock SMPS. With the DC iPur I could use later with a cheap LPS like the TeraDak DC-30W- rb2013

...voltage ouputs, 5vdc from the USB, and an adjustable voltage from the 2.5mm cable. Pretty sure they are separate.
