I would upgrade the cable as well, all KZ planars I've tried so far (except for the PR1 Pro which already comes with a decent cable) have a significant improvement from using a low resistance cable, like the 784 cable they sell.

Can confirm JM6 Pro is enough to drive PR2, I still get more bass in my pc dac setup but I'd say JM6 is about 95% there.

It costs $30 so technically over budget but the Fiio Ka11 is supposedly very good for the money. The Jcally JM6 Pro works but would still be a little lacking probably difficult to say by what % tho. I also don't own a PR2 myself.
