Looking for 60$ cans. Senn. HD 485?
HD 485's are a good choice, they take along time to burn in, which tames the bass. however i havent heard grados so cant comment.- davieb

Thinking of getting some Sennheiser HD485s
i've had the HD485's for a couple of months now, simply there extremely comfortable, i wear them for hours at a time. in terms of sound at first the they seem like bass monsters with a pretty bloated bass which seems to overpower the mids & highs. However if you give them plenty of time to burn...- davieb

looking for some help buying a new set of IEMs. As the title says the only experience i have had are the cx300. im looking for something with a decent amount of bass but not overpowering or muddy. mainly listen to rock music such as maiden, the who ETC. thinking about ety ER-6i or UE super-fi 3...- davieb

HD485 advice..
ive had them for a month now, at first i found the bass to be slightly overpowering. however after alot of burn in it tightens up and they turn out to be a pretty fun listen.- davieb
