Wait a minute that's definitely NOT my stuff in the pic because my B.H.S.E has a silver faceplate. I regret that as well because I should have gotten a blue faceplate... "BLUE" Hawaii. Get it ). Oh well I will see what I can do via taking it off (as well as the volume knob) and getting someone...- Snake Eyes

I can't remember if that's actually my pic or not. Oh well if it is then the headphones should be the Stax SR-009 (th\ey're the only headphones I can use with the B.H.S.E). I should take a new picture later today just so I can have a pic that's definitely my stuff ;o).- Snake Eyes

About hearing sounds via this that I can't hear through my electrostatic setup that's all not true anymore because I listened to it (EP15A + Linn Genki + B.H.S.E + SR-009) today and all of the sounds that weren't there (or were almost non existent, too low in volume) when I listened to it the...- Snake Eyes

"Ed.9 is closed but the HD800 is better, just not as good as the HD800" "Just not as good as the HD800" is an understatement. Ed.9's are NOWHERE near as good as the HD800's. But then again everyone's different and maybe they'll float your boat. When I first heard them they were like that to me...- Snake Eyes

If you were closer I'd invite you over so you could listen to it and write a review ;o). Anyway the only thing I've got to compare it to is the B.H.S.E. Doing that I would also be comparing the HD-800's to the SR-009's. I would then be comparing my dynamic setup to my electrostatic setup. So far...- Snake Eyes

I think they're cheaper than that ($2,400) now and maybe I paid such a high price for them because I got one of the first pairs in Australia, that's what Syntec (that's who I bought it from) said anyway. I'm going back to me SR-009's now because something's not making any sense..... "I can hear...- Snake Eyes

This thing was good although I don't think I'll be using it much because of my B.H.S.E. The 2 volume knobs are an extra as well because what is someone's slightly deaf in one ear. It's fun to play with anyway. Oh yeah and there are these little screens inside of it to adjust the tube bias or...- Snake Eyes

Sold me Edition 9's because of these because they deliver a bigger sound stage and all that compared to the Edition 9's. Maybe it's because the Edition 9's are closed headphones. Whatever they're my 2nd favourite headphone after the SR-009.- Snake Eyes

About having to wait a while to get it is not that bad because I ordered mine August (1987) and it finally arrived yesterday (07/08/2012)... I got the Alps RK50 upgrade with it. Only joking I ordered it last year because I was only 5 in "87" but anyways waiting a year isn't that bad because it's...- Snake Eyes

Got my SR009
Mine have arrived as well!!! But then again because I've got no amplifier for them I'm about as excited as a blind man with a telescope. Oh yeah and there's only one problem so far... I got this cable with it (SRE-925S, 2.5m) and I thought it was a better cable, a replacement cable or something...- Snake Eyes

Got my SR009
I actually sent away for one of these today and I should get it in a week. Unfortunately I haven't got my BHSE to go with it yet and I don't know what's even happening with that because I haven't gotten a reply to me e-mail (that was a while ago now). I'll give it a little time.- Snake Eyes

NEW TOP RUDISTOR
Yeah well because of the price I will just stick with the BHSE and the SR-009. Then there's the coming Egmont 2 or whatever it's called but then again I expect it's price to be stupidly expensive as well . For now I will just focus on selling the RP1000 MKII and buying a better source (CD player).- Snake Eyes

What foods won't you eat?
I think salami is made from horse meat. That's at least what I heard. I had an emu pie once and that was crap but it probably wasn't the emu... it was probably just a crap pie. Quote:- Snake Eyes

How much does the new Rudistor amp cost ? Hopefully it'll be cheaper than the RP-1000 MKII was about 3 years ago . Maybe it was 2 years ago ... Whatever, when I bought it doesn't matter .- Snake Eyes

What is this new electrostatic amplifier being built by a reliable famous amplifier builder you're speaking of????? Maybe I will have to cancel my order of the BHSE after all. Quote:- Snake Eyes

What foods won't you eat?
One of the things I will always avoid is meat from cows, deers, buffaloes, pigs and other animals like that from another country. Why not??? B.S.E!!! Cats apparently get mad cow disease as well (via eating beef or whatever else with B.S.E) and ever since it popped up in Asia via U.S imported...- Snake Eyes

Does Sennheiser ever plan to make new electrostatic headphones?
If they did do you think it would use the same cable as the HE90? Why do I ask? I ask because I'm getting a BHSE and I have a choice of having 2 Stax inputs or one Stax and one Sennheiser. I thought that I might get one Stax and one Sennheiser just in case they make a new one. I'm just worried...- Snake Eyes
