To crossfeed or not to crossfeed? That is the question...
After more days spent tweaking and optimizing Panagement, and after comparing the final result with 112dB Redline Monitor side by side with all other conditions being equal, I still prefer 112dB as it has a richer resolution. I just hear more details.- ironmine

To crossfeed or not to crossfeed? That is the question...
I don't even understand what you mean or what you do. It's easy: just set up Foobar player to apply the vst processing on the fly. If you want to listen to the binaural music outside with your DAP, just convert in Foobar audio files from flac to flac while applying the same vst processing...- ironmine

To crossfeed or not to crossfeed? That is the question...
Yes, indeed, thanks! To my ear, turning it all the way down to 0% makes it even sound better. It is also possible to decrease the bass resonances in the room with the bass know in the reverb settings. So little time, so many crossfeeds to experiment with :)- ironmine

To crossfeed or not to crossfeed? That is the question...
Yes, I use Windows and Foobar. I also tried and used for a couple of years and liked the old initial Isone, many years ago, even before it became a Toneboosters plugin. But then I discovered 112dB Redline monitor and it became my favorite and go-to plugin. I periodically browse the Internet...- ironmine

To crossfeed or not to crossfeed? That is the question...
I agree that, with Panagement, the lower the music notes go, the less there is that binaural feel, as you said. The creators of Panagement need to address this problem with the bass, it's not binauralized enough. Other than that, I like how it sounds, it's kind of immersive (to my ears at...- ironmine

To crossfeed or not to crossfeed? That is the question...
Yes, it's the hardest and trickiest part - how to make sounds appear in front of the listener. Or, at least, on the same horizontal plane as me (I always have a feeling sounds are coming at me from above as if they are elevated). However, luckily, I noticed that when I use the elevation slider...- ironmine

There is also Panagement. Listening to it right now. Sounds awesome! It's now V 2.6, it's much more advanced and more sophisticated now, compared to V1 I had tried before. It also requires two instances of the plugin to simulate two channels.- ironmine

iBasso DX90 Bug Thread - Post Any Firmware Bugs/Issues Here
This is how it is now. All my albums are in each separate folder. All my file names are in the format "01 - It's a long way to the top, flac", "02 - Crazy man.flac", etc. And still the problems described above persists. I suspect the problem is contrary to what you say. DX90 reads tags first...- ironmine

iBasso DX90 Bug Thread - Post Any Firmware Bugs/Issues Here
Hi I always listen to albums, I don't use playlists and other nonsense. Recently, my iBasso DX90 started playing songs in albums by alphabetical order. How can I make it play albums in the proper sequence again (i.e., by file name)? For example, if we take the album "Highway to Hell" by AC/DC...- ironmine

NF Audio impression thread.
Thank you, but the straight (not L-shaped) jack is exactly what I try to avoid. The player (iBasso DX90) with such a straight jack is too long for my pocket, and I have to bend the cable (right after the jack and the stress relief) under a sharp angle. I am afraid when a cable is bent like...- ironmine

IEM for metal music and hard rock - ultimate solution
Well, I received 4 days ago NF Audio NA2 and I've been listening to it since that. I've not had lots of other good, expensive earphones to compare it with, so my experience is limited and possible useless for more experienced audiophiles. I like NF Audio NA2 very much. To my ears, the sound...- ironmine

Hi TGX78, You haven't compared NM2+ against NA2. Can you do it please? Also, how do you think NM2+ responds to equalization - namely, bass?- ironmine

I suppose that in the sentence "NA2+s technical prowess is clearly evident in comparison with better mids detail and separation, less bass impact and presence and has the wider stage perception between the two" you meant to say NM2+ instead of NA2+.- ironmine

It's not really important, I just found it funny. I did not mean to offend you. With English not being my native language, I am sure I make a lot more errors than most people in this forum. I appreciate your reviews and your time input. Actually, based on your reviews I am thinking to buy an NF...- ironmine

Dsnuts, why do you punctuate. Your sentences. In such a weird manner? Why do you. Split what is supposed to be. One sentence. Into several?- ironmine
