I have always wondered how the U12t.
I’ve been very curious about this as well, and can’t wait to read impressions on how it performs with metal.

I just ordered the LZ A7 from Linsoul, and now have the option to get the S8F for 1/2 price. I think it’s too tempting to pass up, though it’s not a purchase I was planning for.

Edit: I’m not trying to overstate things, but I am just amazed at how good the Shozy Form 1.1 is for metal, at least if you like a powerful, percussive, yet natural sounding bass drum, and an overall warmer sound signature.

Time for me too to pull the trigger on one of these. Let me know your opinions guys.

Fearless S8F
Fearless Tequila
LZ A7
Mangird Tea
Shuoer Tape Pro

I can't still decide which one. Money is not a problem in this price range. At the moment I can't afford the MEST otherwise the choice would be easier.

Does the MEST actually do ok with the not best recorded black metal?

You could buy the S8F and sell them to me. 😁😁

I've read that they are endgame for everything that is metal.

Damn I'm going to end up buying a set! Using fearless s8f out of a sp2k listening to immortal. Sounds very good, could be too detailed for long listening mind

I'd go with S8F/Pro depending on weather I want that extra bass kick or not

As long as you have something decent to listen to already, why not save up and get the mest? I get the new toys (been talking myself out of various purchases most of the year for reasons!)bit, but if you have a clear upgrade path in mind why not stick to it? Be more satisfying when you do get it.

Do you know that S8 Freedom has a design flaw: it has no lip on the nozzle.

Yep, it’s well documented. Unfortunately, a lot of IEMs with resin nozzles have no lip, and are particularly smooth. So far, I’ve found that Final Audio E tips (narrow bore) and Sedna Earfits (wide bore) cling tightest to IEM nozzles.

Well MEST is incredible. Listening to mayhem on them now. Best I’ve heard and I own Solaris and 1zr
