Cowon J3 Impressions Thread
I also was into R/C cars, and the LiPo's used in R/C cars are different to the ones used in general electrics, for 1 if you discharge a LiPo that goes into a R/C car it won't charge back up, and 2 they can set on fire pretty easy Quote:- Will13

Unfie, you can use random play anywhere, easiest is to go into songs, play 1 then click the blue bar at the top, click the 2nd option on the dropdown bar, and then click on the 2nd option on the next drop down bar, and now you have random on Quote:- Will13

Ive never had a problem with MM and album art, I did however have a problem with 2 albums and there tags once I synced it with the J3 (wasn't a problem on the Fuze or Clip+) MP3Tag sorted it though, but Ive only used it since 3.6 (cause I got my copy cheap)- Will13

I also had the 6th gen Classic (all though its really the 1st gen), and the sound is a lot, lot better on the Cowon, heck I think it sounds better then the S:Flo2, also for protection I use a black rubber/silicon case off ebay- Will13

Well I sold my S:Flo2 for this, and I'm happy I did, this is alot better every where, as great UI, Battery life, and sound, also plays AAC, and works with album art most of the time overall I'm very very happy- Will13

Cowon J3 vs. S:Flo2
Well the sound is pretty good, really brings out how your earphones are styled (my M1's being detail), but it isn't anything super great like some people say, I couldn't tell alot of difference between the Fuze and S:Flo2, but the UI makes you wanna take a hammer to it, the battery life sucks...- Will13

Sansa Fuze got stolen, looking for replacement
Why not just get another Fuze?, the player is good, and ROCKbox makes it even better- Will13

Don't worry about import tax if ordering from MP4Nation, my last order was over £200 and I didn't get charged (and I didn't get charged on the 2 other orders before that)- Will13

Quote: I feel the same way about my S:Flo2, my Fuze sounds just as good, and better sometimes to me (depending on music, earphones and how ROCKbox is set up), I'll probably get flamed for saying that- Will13

Would a sansa clip+ (rockboxed + lossless) be a better source than iPhone 4 (mostly AAC)?
I think the Fuze's and Clip+'s sound really good without amps- Will13

Review by 'Will13' on item 'SanDisk Sansa Clip+ 2 GB MP3 Player (Black)'
I got this alittle while ago with a S:Flo2, and I used it for awhile then just used the S:Flo2, but after ROCKboxing it with ROCKbox 3.7, I think this is 1 of the best value MP3 players around, and its even better considering the ease of use, battery life, and size, in my honest opinion though...- Will13
