NO REVIEW ON MEIER AMPS
Great thread, I'm really enjoying the different thoughts and opinions! One important factor, I think, hasn't been mentioned so far - FOTM. Flavor of the month is a power to behold, a true force of nature. How does it appear is a complicated question I'm trying to escape most of the time...- zsevgymko

ElephantTLK, I doubt there is any reason for you to worry, the important thing is that you received confirmation from paypal.- zsevgymko

Beresford 7510 MK 6 - initial impressions
drk, I believe thy are referring to the headphone out only. I've also found it not good with my DT880 and K81Dj. Lost dynamics with the first, really bloated bass with the second. Possibly it is OK with Grado headphones.- zsevgymko

Beresford 7510 MK 6 - initial impressions
spacemanspliff , I'm also very interested in your comparison of Beresford against Zhaolu ! I was on the fence between the two for quite some time, eventually I bought the Beresford and received it a few days ago. At the same time I also received the Little Dot MK III headphone amp. I stole...- zsevgymko

The "mod your Zhalou" Thread
Noob's question - I'm ready to pull the trigger on Zhaolu D2.5A with the DC block caps bypassed by Eddie Wu, but would like to replace in the future the stock opamps with LM4562s, does that require soldering ? I think I've read somewhere in this thread that soldering is not needed, but I want to...- zsevgymko

Help me build a rig around my DT880, budget 500$
Corda Aria you say, but from all I've read it seems to be a good quality amp with *some* dac as a bonus. Can it compete with standalone dacs around 200$ ? Will it be a real upgrade from my current source? Also, in general, I prefer to buy dac which is not USB, but to go optical from soundcard...- zsevgymko

Help me build a rig around my DT880, budget 500$
Hi to all, I bought one of the last DT880 (2003) in January and I like it's sound signature. I use it straight from the integrated headphone amp of my soundcard - M-Audio Revo 5.1. It is ok both as a source and an amp, especially if I only had K81Dj, but I feel it doesn't do justice to DT880...- zsevgymko

Help me on my second cans, purely for jazz
I've managed to keep away from this forum for 3-4 months and that is something! The reason was that I was enjoying my new simple setup : Flac -> Foobar -> Revo 5.1 -> K81dj . Still happy with it for pop and rock, but for jazz I want more. My budget is around 200$. These cans should handle with...- zsevgymko
