Selling and Trading CDs Online
Trading is free. It looks like they make money in the following ways: 1. 30% cut if anyone BUYS your music. 2. You get to download 3 free albums a month, but its costs $1 per album after that. 3. If you want the original disc delivered, it costs $2.50. It seems a bit complicated, but the price...- ScubaSteve87

Selling and Trading CDs Online
Earlier this month I was searching for a place online to sell my CDs and stumbled across this site: https://www.murfie.com Has anyone else on HF tried this out? I sent in ~60 of my CDs and have found the trading community on the site to be pretty active. Already have received and downloaded a...- ScubaSteve87

Panerai Thread
I'll have to disagree with Rolex's keeping excellent time. Both my grandparents each have one and they both beed repair constantly and get slow or fast easily. Just my experience though, but with 2 different watches.- ScubaSteve87

Graphics drivers ~ ATI vs Nvidia ?
I have an x700 in my lappy and a crappy old nvidida 4200 something in my rotting dell. I still prefer nvidia drivers though. My new comp this summer will be nvidia for sure. the x700 was my first experience with Ati and I wasn't to impressed. Nvidia really stands out imho- ScubaSteve87

Building my own computer, a couple of questions
Thanks for all the great advice. I guess I'll update a little more now on what I am thinking: RAID is out. After what I have read I am just going with disks. The problem is that I will need quite a bit of storage and I'm looking to buy some 250's on the cheap. Maybe I won't need 4 but well...- ScubaSteve87

Building my own computer, a couple of questions
Alright so I am planning on building a computer over the next few months and I have a couple of questions I thought people here might be able to answer: Cooling: I don't want this thing to get hot, and I want it to be quiet! I have thought about doing liquid cooling, but is this only really...- ScubaSteve87

This question has bugged me for a while: How many people actaully get to fly cutting edge tech fighter jets like that. At so expensive I just couldn't see it that every joe who goes to air force flight school gets to take hops. Or maybe they do? Its the governemnt afterall.- ScubaSteve87

any golfers in the sacramento area?
my uncle lives out there so i visit frequently. Last time I was out I played Cotta Vedera(sp?), Darkhorse, Championship Course at Tahoe, and a few others I can't recall. Had one of the best rounds of my life at Darkhorse. I love that course, but Cotta Vedera is probably the best one of them all...- ScubaSteve87

Should the next National Meet be on the West Coast?
oh it must be in the bay area. My fam is moving there! You guys can't seriously have it again in NYC, its just unfair. And I wouldn't say all of cali is a cesspit, just parts. There are very very nice places there too. There are worse states.........cough West Viriginia cough- ScubaSteve87
