Why is it so har d to decide? Down to Audio GD c2 and Matrix M-Stage or maybe a Kingrex HQ-1? Any last suggestion before I pull the trigger and let my credit card bleed a little more? (DIY is not an option for a man with 11 thumbs)- Geir

Just bought a pair of mullard m8083 cv4014, and I think something is wrong ith them. Have to turn the sound up from around 9 to 12 to have the same sound level. In addition, the sound is not right, harsh and congested and hidden behind the veil. IS there something I can do with the...- Geir

Asus St(x) or zero dac/amp when building new computer?
In the near future my current pc will be 3 years, and time for upgrade. But for best sound to my headphones, should I go for a asus xonar essence st/stx (is there any difference?) as internal soundcard, or go optical out to a zero dac/amp on top of it? Any ideas/suggestions most welcome...- Geir

As stated, the sound out from my laptop is bad. The chain is Laptop (hp 8510p) with foobar2000 (set to usb speakers) --> Keces 151(dac) -->LD I+ --> D7000 Files are either flac or alac. I have located the problem to the laptop. Will have to feed the LD I+ straight from my ipod with...- Geir
