These are great cans and they are no far off from the 800s. The thing is if your interest in music is EDM, rap, techno or trance then this is the worst headphone for you. But if you listen to jazz, classical, soundtracks, unplugged or instruments then this is one of the best headphone out...- Willis

Sony Z1R....listening impressions only
Based on your requirement I recommend the hd800s, but If you can lose a little detail and soundstage please do consider the z1r. The z1r has great detail and soundstage and the hd800s is only subtly better in these aspects in my opinion and with the z1r bass the music sound fuller and more...- Willis

Sony Z1R....listening impressions only
If you are buying Sony from Australia or oversea then remember to get them to include the Sony tourist limited warranty. This warranty is mean for tourist who purchase the headphone oversea on holiday. If your headphone malfunction, bring it to the local Sony service Center with the tourist...- Willis

Fostex x Massdrop TH-X00 Review
The mad dog is a good headphone considering the price and it comes with the alpha pad and xlr cable, but in the end i bought the Sony mdr z1r instead. I did also consider the th900 but the treble is too much for me to bear. So now i have to sell the mad dog to clear some space for the z1r.- Willis

Massdrop x Hifiman edition xx
Wow that is impressive but If your headphone broke you probably can get it fixed by Hifiman in America right? I can't get it fix in Singapore as with most collaboration product from Massdrop. It is the same for HD6XX and Ether CX, I were advised that I have to send the headphone back to US to...- Willis

Massdrop x Hifiman edition xx
According to what you stated, Sennheiser HD800 might be the headphone for you. The only thing is the bass in hd800S is adequate and not rich. Similarly, I was also interested in the XX but as the warranty is not applicable in my country i got a HD800 instead. Hifiman has a bad reputation in...- Willis

Fostex x Massdrop TH-X00 Review
Currently I own a Mrspeaker Mad Dog headphone which I normally used for EDM music and I need advice on whether should I get a Massdrop TRX00? The Mad Dog is a very good headphone too so not too sure whether they would be offering similar style. Thank you in advance.- Willis
