DT 880 from 2017 sounded different than the one I own now
Okay interesting. I don't necessarily have a problem with them being closed if they have those characteristics because they won't be my main anyway. Focal is definitely too expensive though. When it comes to Planars I owned the Deva but the bass wasn't really quick in any means on those at...- pasi123567

DT 880 from 2017 sounded different than the one I own now
I bought myself the HD580 used again as well because that was another headphone where I thought the bass was faster than of the K702. It seems that you could be right. The bass on the HD580 definitely feels faster than the DT880 but almost equal to the K702, though with more impact. It could be...- pasi123567

DT 880 from 2017 sounded different than the one I own now
I had the DT 880 250ohm back in 2017 right after getting the K702 after asking for recommendations here. I found that the DT880 back then was very bright in comparison to the K702 and had way less sub bass as well. I also thought it had the hardest hitting fastest bass I have heard until then...- pasi123567

Selling as I was not a fan of the sound. They work perfectly, no wear or anything. These are a great entry to planar for anyone who wants to own some and enjoys the sound. Build quality seems great. They are really lightweight and comfortable. I can wear them forever. Would also trade for...- pasi123567

Personal opinion but I don't get the expensive headphone market anyway the more headphones I try. My favourite headphone sound of all time is still a 50$ gaming headset from Logitech and no other headphone I tried yet has beaten it (k702 is close). It is funny if you ask me. I can clearly see...- pasi123567

To me it sounded pretty unimpressive in general. But you can never tell a 100% from demos. Did sound pretty bad to me though. I'll wait for the other persons impression too.- pasi123567

To me they are slightly recessed in comparison to most headphones I had. I believe this could fit that criteria. They are definitely not thin or distant sounding. I would not call them sounding full either though. More towards full. I think that description is pretty accurate. Yes, with a...- pasi123567

I also got the Zeus as they looked promising from DMS's review and Zeos's sound demo. Must say I hoped for more. Comfort: The pads are indeed very nice but the clamping force is extremely high and uncomfortable for me. You could possibly stretch them but out of the box very strong clamping...- pasi123567

What Are You Listening To Right Now?
Really great song with an important message. I tried translating it so you could understand :relaxed: Also the lyrics talk about the Christ Child, which is our Santa- pasi123567

What I keep noticing here is that some people say they have a big soundstage, no one is mentioning though if this is with spacial audio on or off - pasi123567

E-MU Teak or Denon D5000?
After some asking around my decision seems to boil down to those 2 phones. I would love to know the general differences between the two if anyone knows them, but in general I would probably prefer the one with the bigger sound to it and a more enjoyable sound when it comes to acoustic guitars...- pasi123567

Philips Fidelio X2?!
Dolby Atmos is pretty much a gimmik. When it comes to imaging, stereo is still the best but there are certain surround sound filters that give more immersion for gaming, though there is much better stuff out there than dolby atmos and you can basically try it all out for free anyway with...- pasi123567

Philips Fidelio X2?!
I can tell you the differences to the K702 at least. To me, but many people don't share my opinion. the K702 has a more musical feeling to it. It extends better into the subbass though less bass in general. Bass is also more controlled. Soundstage feels more realistic on the X2. The soundstage...- pasi123567

Philips Fidelio X2?!
Yeah it worked kinda with the HD600. X2 also sounds kind of better but also a lot more compressed. I like my EQ better with X2. I would like a slider on how much sonarwork tries to correct things, maybe that would help.- pasi123567

Not really a fan of Sonarworks tbh. I tried it with the HD580 the K702 and now the X2, and all are completely different sounding with sonarworks. K702 are just bass monsters with sonarworks enabled.- pasi123567

Philips Fidelio X3
After listening more and more to the X2 and hearing impressions on the X3, it seems like the X3 is basically a fixed X2. Less bass, which is good, better cleaner treble and faster drivers. Until this point I thought the driver is relatively fast in comparison to the K702 but I was wrong and it...- pasi123567

I wouldn't try it, but apparently blowing on the driver with heat could fix the issue, in his case he just melted the plastic xD- pasi123567

Philips Fidelio X2?!
I don't know, the X2 I have from my friend had the same problem he said, and he tried fixing it by "stretching the membrane" with a hair dryer. Though he just used a lighter. It did not turn out well, though fixed the issue lol.- pasi123567

So I got these like yesterday and I want to give my description of how these sound to me. If anyone has easier explanations that would be great but this is how I describe it.
