Super.Fi 4vi query
I'm pretty sure they will, but will the Super.Fi 4vi's work with a blackberry (the soon to be released bold to be specific.)? Just so I don't buy a $125 head phone w/ mic and it doesn't work as I expect.- kal_el_3914

I currently have a home made cmoy, and use yuin pk2's on the go, and ms1's if i listen at home. i think i've narrowed it to the total bithead, and the ibasso t2, but can't find a comparison of the two to make up...- kal_el_3914

podcasts for the Gigabeat?
While waiting for my new S60 gigabeat to arrive, I downloaded a flying buttload of video podcasts. My problem is that media player will not sync them. Is there any program out there that will convert and sync them automatically (Doppler, happyfish, etc.) rather than me having to manually convert...- kal_el_3914

windows sound kill foobar
I switched to foobar today, and every time a windows sound plays, foobar's sound dies. It still shows that it is playing, but no music I'm running it through a chaintech av710. I didn't have this problem while using winamp, but i like foobar's sq better, so i'd like to remedy this. I followed...- kal_el_3914

does this exist?
looking very hard at the e-mu 0404, but kinda turned off by the only 2 channel thing. Is there a sound card that has sound quality as good as or at least comparable to the 0404, and 5.1? I also don't need inputs. All i need is an optical out and an analogue out- kal_el_3914

diy t-amp alternative
don't know if this is old news or not, but i thought it would be worth checking out. here it's a bit more expensive, but if the quality is better, and it's more power, and you're tired of waiting for the sonic impact 5066 to be in stock, it may be worth checking it out. ordered mine yesterday...- kal_el_3914

best general sound card
I'm looking for a replacement for my soundmax onboard optical sound card. while it's ok on sound, i want better. I was looking at the chaintech, but have read it doesn't hold a candle to the e-mu 0404, which sucks for gaming. what would be the best choice for gaming and music listening, as my...- kal_el_3914

is this legit?
bored and googling, i came across this: What?¿? do they possibly have a leaked version of the chroma? are they taking preorders? Is their site starved for attention, and tyring in anyway possible to be noticed? I dunno, but it freaks me out sometimes. I'm done now, you can rest.- kal_el_3914

looking for a replacement
Well, 28 days in my zen micro headphone jack started cutting out. Should have heeded the warnings from others. Now I'm on the hunt for a replacement, but I don't know if I should go with a karma/20gb zen, or 1gb flash player. I've been leaning toward 1gb flash player, because I've heard running...- kal_el_3914

I am looking for the best possible earbuds (read: not cannal or iem's) i can get. After some research, i found that ath-cm7 are it. My only question is the price justified? Are they so much of an improvement over the highly acllaimed mx series that spending $90 more is worth it? They will be...- kal_el_3914

?? ohm adapter
I'm making an impedence adapter for my ksc75's and have seen people are used 75 and 100 ohm resistors in them. I was wondering what resistance would be better, as I'm too poor/lazy/impatient to make a second adapter, so I want to get it right on the first try. Suggestions? Edit: Will be...- kal_el_3914

mint resistor question
i'm trying to figure out what resistors i want to get for a mint, and i've been leaning toward Xicon 5% carbon film resistors.
