Beoplay E8
That's disappointing to hear. I too have just sent my E8s back for an exchange, directly to Beoplay through their website by UPS. Hopefully, the replacement I get from them will have no problems...- Keiso

Beoplay E8
I love the sound, fit and looks of the E8s, but like the others have described, the crackling on the right earbud and constant drop-outs (since the last firmware upgrade) are really bothering me. So much that I've gone back using Airpods. At home I have full-size cans that sound better anyway. I...- Keiso

Meet the Sennheiser HD 660 S
For my ears, definitely better. Same balanced sound signature as before, with a sweet and clearer midrange. I think if you liked the midrange on the 650s, you won't be disappointed here. No V-tuned crap here.- Keiso

Meet the Sennheiser HD 660 S
Hi, I don't write so much usually, but I felt I had to say something about the HD660s. I've had them now for 2 days. Prior to that, my all-rounder set was the HD650, which I love. I got them on sale in Norway too, and I was really in doubt whether I should shell out more money for a pair of cans...- Keiso

Detachable, yes. Just pull them out *gently*. It's easily done. Washable? I guess, but I think I would buy new ones instead...- Keiso

USB headphone from audio-technica: built-in DAC
Well, it may be the best you can get from a laptop, which is what this is designed for. Laptops and mini computers are hot in Japan. It's about making things as small and mobile as possible, just look at our awesome cellphones! And they are from AT. Have a little faith in that company...- Keiso

phones for PC
Which soundcard have you got? I'm currently using my Turtle Beach Santa Cruz soundcard with my HD590. This combo is @sskicking. The smooth sound of the Santa Cruz smooths out the slight harshness of the HD590s, making MP3s, gaming, 3d effects, everything sound fantastic. The Santa Cruz is...- Keiso

Are there any sonic differences between a original CD and a burnt copy?
Using my Sanyo CDR drive (Sanyo invented Burn-proof technology), I did several tests at various reading speed of the accuracy. I went up to 8X, I don't think it's a good idea to higher, even though your player can handle it (well, psychologically I feel safer not to go up higher). Anyway, the...- Keiso

just how many people realy like the hd-590's?
Atomicarnage: The HD590s should work great for 3D postioning. But I'm not sure if how convinient they will be at LAN parties, because, since these are open back headphones, like your SR-60, noise from your environmet will go straight through them. Maybe what you need is a pair of...- Keiso
