Super (capacitor) charging your iFi Zen Can (and other zen products and possibly other manufacturers)
Brilliant, I hadn't thought of this! hypothetically, if you had a device that needs 7Amps, can it pull the 7A from two 4A PSU's ? https://musicmaker.ie/voodoo-lab-vl-ppav-output-splitter-barrel-y-cable-4-in?- Lalerfy

You can get an open box Sundara direct from HifiMan for $209 or $239 depending on where you live. I've bought the Ananda + Sundara open boxes and they both appeared to be brand new. https://store.hifiman.com/clearance-sales- Lalerfy

iFi audio iDSD Diablo - A portable reference done our way!
I thought maybe the voltage protector on the Diablo was faulty and if you dropped HYPSOS slightly to 4.7Volts it might work.- Lalerfy

iFi audio iDSD Diablo - A portable reference done our way!
I believe those 50Watt phone chargers have stepped voltage, so on mine at 5 Volts it can only put out 3 Amps. The 50W can only be had when it steps up to 20V. Thorsten said, even the original spec for the Zen-Can was supposed to be 5V with 5 Amps but instead iFi shipped it with 2.5A thus...- Lalerfy

iFi ZEN DAC Signature V2 Impressions
I had both the regular Zen-Dac and the Signature-Zen-Dac for a month. the Signature definitely sounds better. It's more detailed and clearer. I still use the Signature version today. For me the power supply makes no difference, the Signature is just a better sounding Dac.- Lalerfy

iFi audio iDSD Diablo - A portable reference done our way!
@iFi audio @Sebastien Chiu Does the newest 7.4b firmware still have the older but great sounding "Symmetrical FIR Filter" ?? "The filter in 7.2B is a symmetrical FIR filter, using three cascaded FIR interpolation filters which are equivalent to appx. 75,000 tap filter at 8 X Oversampling...- Lalerfy

iFi’s ZEN Air Series – great sound for under £100
@iFi audio can you tell us is the the X-Bass on the new Air-Dac the same excellent "X-Bass" that's on the original Zen-Can or is it the heavier "True-Bass" that's on the original Zen-Dac that's too strong a boost for most music ?- Lalerfy

iFi ZEN DAC Signature V2 Impressions
The regular Zen-Dac V1 and V2 sound the exact same, I owned both. I now use the the Signature-Zen-Dac which does sound better, as it has more detail and music sounds less compressed compared to the regular Zen-Dac.- Lalerfy

Sennheiser HD660S... Finally a successor for the HD650?
I'm having the same experience with the Fiio Q3 THX-AAA, I just can't believe how good the 4.4mm output sounds. I believe the highs are better on this Q3 than the BTR5 which apparently has harsher less pleasing treble. Even low gain is plenty for the Sundara and hd6XX.- Lalerfy

HD600 amp/dac upgrade
Have you ever tried the Balanced output on the q3 ? because the 3.5mm SE is not as good. The 4.4mm sounds better as it's a bit clearer, with slightly more detail, and there's definitely more separation. I do think the Dac section on the q3 pairs well with the hd600, the highs seem to be just...- Lalerfy

HD600 amp/dac upgrade
I have the HD600 an it sounds excellent on the very powerful Zen-Can Class-A amp. You can connect the Q3 4.4mm Balanced to the 4.4mm input on the Zen-Can. Get them from Amazon Germany and if you don't like, you can always return in 30 days. ►https://Amazon.de/gp/product/B08DJ4NJH5...- Lalerfy

iFi audio - Introducing the ZEN DAC Signature V2 and ZEN CAN Signature HFM, Perfectly Balanced As All Things Should Be!
It's a pity iFi didn't include It's a pity iFi didn't include the regular X-Bass on these Signature-Zen-Cans too, as that extra treble will make a number of popular headphones just that bit too sharp.- Lalerfy

Great headphone sound? It’s in the CAN! iFi audio ZEN CAN!
I would get the Zen-Can as you already have a good Dac that you can connect to the Zen-Can amp with a Balanced interconnect. The HD600 sounds excellent on the Zen-Can as it's a slightly warmer Class-A amp, and especially with the very subtle X-Bass boost which is just perfect for the hd600...- Lalerfy
