possible to use phone as remote...app?

What would be the perfect Amp combination for this DAC, primarily for Headphones so balanced XLR and 4.4mm are a must!

It depends on what you're after, but our ZEN CAN seems to be the ideal option if you don't want to spend too much.

possible to use phone as remote...app?

You can use your smartphone as a transport that can directly send music to ZEN One Signature over BT.

Can we expect a vanilla Zen can Signature soon?

Just to clarify, vanilla in what way?

Can you have both toslink and RCA spdif sources hooked up, and switch between them? There only appears to be three inputs on the selector control.

I'll double-check whether one overrides the other or not, but there's no separate switch that would allow going from one to the other.

Like not specially made for specific headphones?

Hi ifi audio, after checking carefully I think I need to retract my previous post. Can you confirm the Zen One Signtaure is identical to the Zen Dac Siagnture V2 excapt that the One signature has additional inputs but lacks the preamp section of the Dac Signature V2?

Copnsidering that ZEN One Signature is a fully balanced design, it would be best to use it with any balanced headphone amp. But picking a specific balanced amp is a broader subject that depends on headphones one would like to use.

I'd have to double-check whether the base platform is the same, but it most likely is, of course plus different inputs and minus volume control.

Zen CAN v2? I don't see a v2 for the CAN on the website, so is this something new coming out soon?

A typo on my end that's now fixed, there's no ZEN CAN V2 :)

@iFi audio Will there be a Signature-Zen-Can amp that just has the standard X-Bass ??

If you mean ZEN CAN Signature not tailored for any specific cans, there's no info about such a product at this time, but thanks for asking :)

Appreciate if this can be checked? I bought the zen signature v2 but I miss SPDIF input and I don’t need volume control (I disabled it in the v2).

ZEN One Signature is closer to ZEN DAC Signature V2 than any other product, but with redesigned PCB layout and additional inputs including wireless. The origin of both these platforms is similar in the sense that they're both fully balanced designs.

Someone mentioned in this thread that the Zen One doesn't include the USB filter (to clean up the signal), where the Zen DAC v2 does. Can you confirm this?

This question was already asked at our R&D and we'll address it as soon as we have any info on the matter, thanks!

I did (I think). This was told to me by someone, and I believe this info is incorrect. Both DACs seem to have an identical USB input. I let IFI of course confirm
