FiiO X7 Mk II 2GB RAM + 64GB ROM + ESS9028 PRO + Balanced + DSD + BT 4.1 aptX + Dual mSD + Dual Band WiFi + Opt Out
I had this problem too and I think it's a corrupt file. I decided to scan selected folders until I got to the one that stopped the scanning. However yesterday after installing the latest version, the automatic scan worked without a problem....- Cachicamo

FiiO X7 Mk II 2GB RAM + 64GB ROM + ESS9028 PRO + Balanced + DSD + BT 4.1 aptX + Dual mSD + Dual Band WiFi + Opt Out
I like Hiby a lot. Especially with the sound field plug in that functions well with iems. I have to say I use the Fiio app more frequently lately. It has improved in my opinion.- Cachicamo

FiiO X7 Mk II 2GB RAM + 64GB ROM + ESS9028 PRO + Balanced + DSD + BT 4.1 aptX + Dual mSD + Dual Band WiFi + Opt Out
I'm also still very happy with the soundquality of the X7MkII and fortunately haven't experienced any of the software issues. I use it with Cosmic Ears CE6P monitors. I used to use only Hiby player, but since a few months I tend to listen more with Fiio's own player. Enjoy your X7!- Cachicamo

FiiO X7 Mk II 2GB RAM + 64GB ROM + ESS9028 PRO + Balanced + DSD + BT 4.1 aptX + Dual mSD + Dual Band WiFi + Opt Out
That's the strange thing about the Fiio players, some users experience a lot of problems while I haven't had any major issues so far (probably I'm f..d right now...:)). Maybe because I use it just to listen to music with wired monitors. Besides that Fiio has credit with me, because they are very...- Cachicamo

FiiO X7 Mk II 2GB RAM + 64GB ROM + ESS9028 PRO + Balanced + DSD + BT 4.1 aptX + Dual mSD + Dual Band WiFi + Opt Out
I had the scanning issue with 1.08 as well due to a a certain folder (probably very large foldername). That same folder was scanned without issues in 1.07. It's a pitty for people with big issues as above, because, I have to say it, soundwise I love the X7II and I'm using and enjoying it every...- Cachicamo

FiiO X7 Mk II 2GB RAM + 64GB ROM + ESS9028 PRO + Balanced + DSD + BT 4.1 aptX + Dual mSD + Dual Band WiFi + Opt Out
I had the same problem and I scanned the individual folders until one of them gave the error message. I think it had to do with a very long foldername. Have you tried this? The strange thing is, I had the same folder scanned without problems first, so maybe it's a 1.08 thing... It's a lot of...- Cachicamo

FiiO X7 Mk II 2GB RAM + 64GB ROM + ESS9028 PRO + Balanced + DSD + BT 4.1 aptX + Dual mSD + Dual Band WiFi + Opt Out
I haven't used the Fiio player a lot lately, but since the update to 1.07 I'm really happy with the sound. Maybe it has always been like this, but since the update I like it better than Hiby which I was using before and still like a lot. I hear more separation of instruments and voices. I...- Cachicamo

I think the M7 is more the equivalent of the X5. I was thinking of a new flagship Dap in the M range.- Cachicamo

I thought the Hiby player also played the hi-res files without downsampling. At least it did with the old X7 according to the thread. Anyhow I use it a lot and like the way it sounds.- Cachicamo

HibyMusic Android and iOS Music Player - Bit-perfect USB Output; Network and Dropbox Streaming
Hi guys, Since the last update (Hiby betaversion V 3.0.0 Internation build 5490) a lot of my artwork has dissapeared. It shows when I'm playing the song, but not in the albumscreen. Anyone a solution? It was okay before the update. Thanks.- Cachicamo

The only difference I have noticed is a bit longer startup time (with the Fidelizer logo). I'm still very happy with the sound change though. Maybe others can share their experiences?- Cachicamo

It’s like an alternative firmware as I see it. Spotify and Hiby work, so I guess the other apps will do too.- Cachicamo

I used it in pure music mode, but mostly with the Hiby Player and that works fine. I use a 200gb sdcard that is full, no issues and Spotify and Tidal work just as they should. I am a satisfied user.- Cachicamo

Can you check the upgradepage in the support area of the X7? There it is. To be honest I only received the automatic message twice and it dissappeared later...- Cachicamo
