Grado RS 1 Amp
I have just purchased some Grado RS-1s an upgrade from 225is and at first was a little disappointed, some songs the vocals seemed distant , bass was good and they were very bright until I switched to flat pads which has made a big difference. I have a feeling though I am not using them to...- gooner265

I have just narrrowly missed out on an auction for some grado gs1000 phones :-( as I want ot treat myself to a new pair. I have a pair of 225is but I think the cable has snapped inside as they are intermittent and have to twist the cord to get a connection in the left pad. I do love the sound of...- gooner265

Replacement for Grado SR60s
The sound I'm looking for is as if I was in the room with that guitarist , to hear every squeak on the fretboard from Steve Hackett and Jimmy Page etc. For live music it's as if i was in the front row and a massive Pink Floyd fan so want to hear Gilmour's guitar shine. So needs to belt out a...- gooner265

Replacement for Grado SR60s
I think I am going to plump for the 225i as they seem to have a great review and good value for price/quality ratio. Has any British people on here used these suppliers before as they seem to be the cheapest I have found Grado Also would appreciate if anyone could tell me where I canget my...- gooner265

Replacement for Grado SR60s
I was told there was nowhere over here they could be fixed , I'm in England. I did love the sound of the grados for an entry level sound was superb just comfort was a factor. I am seriously considering the 125 and 225s now as I love the Grado sound , If I can get the 60s fixed in England I will...- gooner265

Replacement for Grado SR60s
Well after I blew one of the speakers in my Grados SR60s ( not the i version) I am left without and headphones so am looking for a replacement. Are the 80s a big jump or I may even consider the sennheiser 650s which seem to be popular and they seem to be durable and able to buy replacement...- gooner265

Grado SR60 Problem
My Grado SR60 headphones have gone in the right ear , no sound at all. I think I may have possibly blown it playing my music too loud. Does anyone know the best place and a rough cost for repair or is it not worth it if it's too expensive( a new pair costs £82). I have been asked to check the...- gooner265

Cowon S9
That's great , thanks for that , just one more question. Do txt files take up a large amount of memory so for example if I had the lyrics for every album stored on there would that severly restrict my 32 gigs?- gooner265

Cowon S9
Now that gapless seems to be possible on the S9 I am very interested as an upgrade from my Sony HD5. Just a couple of questions . 1. Can you tag lyrics to the songs so I can read them during each track , I'm not bothered about them scrolling along just want a page to come up with the full...- gooner265

ShureE2c upgrade
I have had the Shures for a good while now and they are excellent but looking for an upgrade possibly. What would be the next logical step , I know the 530s are lauded but 200 quid seems a lot of money for an MP£ player. I am looking to get the sony 808 if that helps .- gooner265

Well I'm looking at a second hand 808 now as that seems to fulfill my needs , SS , gapless playback and being a flash drive I could use it for both normal use and running.- gooner265

I'm still on the search and never realised you could buy new sony's using sonicstage still , namely the a3000 . Was this the last model to use SS and is it available in a 30G version. I will probably plump for this but want to get the las version used as I am guessing the SQ would be the best...- gooner265

I'm really frustrated as my HD5 has given up the ghost and I loved it , great sound quality and more importantly GAPLESS PLAYBACK .
