ATH-M50 and XB500 combined?
I've been looking for some headphones with big jaw-shaking bass like the Sony XB500's, but also with the crystal clear sound quality of the Audio-Technica ATH-M50's. I mostly listen to Trap music which is basically a Hip-Hop gangsta beat combined with Dubstep. Trap songs have a lot of bass and...- Xcuz

Headphone Amp Under $100
I'm looking for a suitable headphone amp under $100 for my laptop to use with my Audio Technica ATH-M50's and my Sony MDR-1R's. I mostly listen to chill electronic and dubstep. Preferably portable, but I don't want a large amp. I've already looked at the Fiio lineup, but none really suit...- Xcuz

You decide Head-Fi.
Quote: Yeah, but extending the bass on the M50's doesn't really compare to the XB500's bass. I really want some headphones with a mostly flat response with an extension to the bass.- Xcuz

You decide Head-Fi.
Right now I currently own the ATH-M50's and XB500's. I'm looking for something that has detailed sound quality like the M50's, but they lack some bass(to me atleast). I got used to the bass on the XB500's and I'm a basshead, but I also love outstanding sound quality. So, maybe something similar...- Xcuz

Need amp under $200
I'm mostly looking for an amp under $200 for some portable headphones such as Audio Technica ATH-M50 and Sony MDR 1R. I mostly listen to chill electronic and dubstep. If so any respectable amps under $100 would be fine too.- Xcuz

What beats Sony MDR-1R?
Quote: I've heard the 1R's have actually decent bass and can be better with an amp. Today I was messing around with my EQ on my music player and I found that my M50's actually have pretty good bass, but you just can't tell the way the response is set up to be. I'm sure that's also the case...- Xcuz

What beats Sony MDR-1R?
Quote: The MDR-1R frequency response is more flat. I would also consider the highs and mids to be better, but I'm not sure about the bass quality and quantity. Can anyone do a comparison between the two, because they both seem like good headphones for what I'm looking for.- Xcuz

What beats Sony MDR-1R?
Quote: I mainly do listen to chill electronic and dubstep. Anything else I listen to may consist of pop, rap, r&b, and soft rock. I would like for them to be have the potential to be nice and bassy, but not an overpowering bass sound such as Beats by Dre. I would like these to be more...- Xcuz

What beats Sony MDR-1R?
Quote: Well I know that Sony is pretty reliable, and they have a pretty high FR. Also, I've seen some reviews comparing them to other headphones and they seemed to be the perfect headphones for me in that price range. Along with a bit of understated style as a bonus.- Xcuz

M50 vs XB700 vs XB500
You won't be disappointed with the xb500's. They have amazing bass for dubstep and electronic music. I had a pair, but the headband broke from me being careless. They are fragile, but they still sound pretty good with lots of bass. I've also heard that the xb700's bass is kinda muddy, a...- Xcuz
