iBasso D2 Viper
Hi, So it has been years since I've been here. Like 6? I am still loving my shure SE500 IEMs (or whatever they are called, like I said, it has been awhile). Anyway, I haven't used my D2 viper in about 5 years. If I remember correctly it gave me some issues and then the LOD broke and I...- robenco18

Need To Extract .cue Files and Keep Tags
Thank you. It's not the reading the .ape cue files that is a problem. I can do that with foobar2000 too. I want to then extract them (convert?) them to .ape form so I can then convert that to ALAC using another converter. I could convert the files to .wav but I would lose all my tags besides the...- robenco18

Need To Extract .cue Files and Keep Tags
I understand that but when I try to convert them to .flac I have to show it the .flac file. These files are .ape files so I can't select any of them when I do .flac. I want to add another option to the converter and I don't seem to be able to do that.- robenco18

Need To Extract .cue Files and Keep Tags
Hey, I have been using Foobar2000 for awhile now. I extract the files, then I convert them to .wav form. then apple lossless form and put them in my itunes library. I have a lot of boxed sets like this and I'm realizing that Foobar2000 does not keep the track tags or the artists tags. Just he...- robenco18

iBasso D2 Viper DAC not working with MacBook
Hey, Is this common or correct or fixable? My D2 Viper won't work with my MacBook through the usb DAC. For whatever reason, I don't know. Is this supposed to happen and it is only compatible with Windows? Or do I need to do something within my computer? It's the brand new Aluminum MacBook...- robenco18

Amp Not Turning On
Hi, My iBasso D2 Viper is not turning on, for whatever reason. It worked all day yesterday and when I went to use it it no longer is turning on (the blue light stays off and no sound is coming through it.) When I plug it in it says it is charging and when I plug the USB in that light lights...- robenco18

So I spend all of this money and time and I still get static
hahaha my ears are fine. I never actually have it all of the way up. In that song though, it's a quiet part in the orchestra so I can turn it all of the way up without hurting my ears at all. but I never actually have it all of the way up when I'm normally using it. I get hiss even when I...- robenco18

So I spend all of this money and time and I still get static
So, I take the time to re-rip, re-download, and convert all of my 18,000 songs into apple lossless format, buy se530 earbuds, by a LOD, a ibasso d2 Viper amp, and the opamps to go along with it. Burn it in for over 300 hours. And I still get static caused by the ipod! What the heck am I...- robenco18

Static in the D2 Viper caused by the line in or out?
Hey, Well I figured out, as others have, that when the amp is charging and you are using the USB port to use the DAC through your computer you get static as you turn the volume up all the way. I read the mod (about scraping paint off) and I will do that to take care of this but my problem...- robenco18

Help, Crackling when I listen to my music!
Hey, So I let my viper burn for 300 hours and am now listening to some lossless music through my ipod and into my se530s. Well an acoustic guitar comes in and it starts crackling! I have no idea what is going on. It doesn't crackle when I just play it without the amp but for some reason I am...- robenco18

Is a new potentiometer worth the it?
Hey, I recently bought an iBasso D2 Viper. And I love it. It's been burning in for over 200 hours and it's great. My only pet peeve is that when I don't have any music playing and I turn the volume knob, once I get to a certain point it starts to get staticy BUT only when I'm turning the...- robenco18

How do you keep your ipod(or what have you) and amp "together"
Hey, As the title states, you guys have any interesting and tried and true ways to keep it as together as possible? I'm thinking a rubber band or one of those LiveStrong type bands. What about you guys? Pictures would be awesome!- robenco18
