Hey,

Is this common or correct or fixable? My D2 Viper won't work with my MacBook through the usb DAC. For whatever reason, I don't know. Is this supposed to happen and it is only compatible with Windows? Or do I need to do something within my computer? It's the brand new Aluminum MacBook (christmas gift, of course).

I have VMWare installed so I can go back and forth between windows and and Leopard and it is recognized and works in windows. Any ideas?

Go into your preferences with the D2 plugged into the USB and you will see "sound" over on the right on the second line. Click on that and you will see the USB device. Click on it and you will be good to go.

Rogue Amoeba (or something like that) has a freeware app that puts the input and output selector on the upper menu of the mac, so you can do quicker switches.
