Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears
No, no, the PX is Japanese stereo Hi-Fi from the 90's and 1000XM2 is state of the art 2020 sound. Sony have cheaper headphones which sound artificial and exuberant.- Tjinnitus

In short: Instead of the distant projected sound I got an articulate, noise cancelling, believable presentation.- Tjinnitus

Audio.de have reviewed the PX with a score of 74/100 ('Sehr gut' - Very good). The same issue of the magazine also review the new Beyerdynamic Aventho and it receives 85/100 ('Überragend' - Outstanding).- Tjinnitus

I've auditioned the B&O H4 also, and find them much more capable of recreating the instruments and a feeling of presence. Is it the B&O brand which is in the way of realising the potential?- Tjinnitus

Who is doing the SW? How large is their team? I have the B&W A7 and competitors are more stable regarding Airplay. Also, the latest FW for that device changed the sound, less treble.- Tjinnitus

The burn in is really funny. The shop had only been burning the phone for 20 hours and was eager to state that it needed at least 80 hours of continuous playing. We both agreed that the sound did not hit the mark considering the hefty price. Does burn in apply for ALL phones? It should, if it...- Tjinnitus

Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears
Fascinating, they've increased the kbps with around 60 percent using the new format. Reading up, it is indeed lossy. Qualcomm have some answers to the claim ''indistinguishable from high resolution audio", http://www.avhub.com.au/news/sound-image/aptx-hd---lossless-or-lossy-442124 We contacted...- Tjinnitus

The B&W PX have the very latest Qualcomm aptX HD: https://www.aptx.com/products?field_aptx_type_tid=483&field_product_brand_tid=253&field_product_category_tid=125 The latest Sony, the MX2, also have this. Still rare.- Tjinnitus

The most pleasant sound has been from Sennheiser Momentum 2.0. However, it doesn't seem to be using the latest wireless tech, best with a cable. Far better than B&W PX.- Tjinnitus

Auditioned. The overall sound is distant, like in a large concert hall. Drums sound fine but the singers voice is far away down on the stage. Wouldn't spend on these, have the B&W signature sound changed with the new owners?- Tjinnitus
