    TOPPING DX1 is available now

Holy Hell, using this as a Dac to my Asgard. Wowzers!!! Much better then my D10s and Modi+ That Akm Chip just sings. As a Amp it does pretty good as well. I noticed tho it likes high quality files, feed it garbage files/music and it will show them to you. I don't think for $100 you, in my...

    SIVGA SV021 — Impressions & Discussion Thread

I don't really jump on the new FOTM but I needed another closed headphone. I've got my work horse Dt770s, I personally feel no need to go higher up the chain price wise because IMO (Ears) you don't get much better. Law of returns for me. But I wanted another cheap closed set. I've tried...

Schiit Asgard 3 - Impressions Thread

Can anyone recommend a replacement volume knob?, Nothing to fancy really needed. My stock knob isn't quite round so it rubs the case around the 11spot.

New Beyerdynamic Pro X line: DT 700 Pro X and DT 900 Pro X

I'm not a graph guy, I let my ears decide. I'm all in for the 900. My 990's will die with me, so even a slight upgrade will be a welcome. The cable swap is the selling point for me personally. The headband might be in question. I like to replace it easy when it wears out, so we'll have to...

I thought I was the only one who thought the silver plate sounded weird, maybe a bad plating process on their end? The mix cables sound fabulous. strange! You're right on the bass, I didn't mention it in my quick review but yeah, it's way over done. and very mid-bass forward. Too much for the...

Ok guys here's my quick take on a few cables I bought from Lunashops mainly for my 6xx. First I bought the 16 core mix copper/silver cable. Next I bought the 8 core solid gold cable, and finally I bought the 16 core silver plated cable. All in 1.6m. So after some major listening sessions. I...

    The Beyerdynamic DT880 Discussion thread

You're totally correct, I even asked him what he was smoking? The Choice Suede suck ass on the 880s. It's SO bad, But if you want to stick with Dekoni the Velour are the way to go. They are best on both the DT990 and 880. The only one he got right was the leather on the 770s. These...

Solid gold man!! 58x-600 series Very well made, amazing light cable..Feather weight. dead silent, no sound up into the cans. Nice! Don't really hear much of a difference in audio. Slightly more clear then the stock cable. They say gold is mid-range forward. Maybe?, it sounds good to me. $40ish...

I know this mostly is for in ears but I just got this: for my Senns V.1 over ear. Great Cable, Gold & Silver Mix. I also just ordered a solid gold for my 58x. The Senn cable was like $22 or so. The 58x was $45 after a coupon :)

Yeah I listened to Zeos on those suedes, what a fool. That was a wow moment, I was What...What's he smoking? The leather works well on the 770, The velour also works fantastic on the 990's. The suede sound pretty good on the 770 as well.

    Beyerdynamic, Shame on you (Cables)

So I had some extra cash and wanted to expand my Beyer Collection. I bought DT770 Pro 250 ohm and DT990 Limited Black in the 80 ohm Version. I already have these in different ohm versions but now I don't have to move my cans around. Anyway my BIG complaint. When, did Beyer switch to the cheap...

What is a good cheap 1.5 feet RCA cable ? I use these, better then Monoprice, IMO. I also use Worlds Best Cables, for 2ft and under. Mogami, not Gotham.

Post the best headphone deals you have ever got (new/ob/used)

I just bought a new sealed Momentum V.1 Ivory off Ebay for $66, I grabbed replacement pads and cable off amazon for $24 to replace the crappy stock ones. So for under $100, not bad!! They sound pretty damn good too!!! Gave my chic my barely used on ears :)
