    Velour/Felt Pads for ATH-M50?

You can call AT customer service and have them transfer you to the parts department or just tell them that you want to buy replacement pads for a particular headphone. I called AT about 8 months ago and ordered a pair of W5000 pads and a pair of AD900 pads. It was fairly easy in fact.

    Headset surround sound convertor

The JVC SU-DH1 is priced at $99.99 over at BHphoto.com and the Astro Mix Amp by itself is priced at $129.99 at AstroGaming.com ( I believe that is the only place you can buy the Astro amp). I'm not sure if either of those places ship internationally so you might want to check out those websites...

    Headset surround sound convertor

I own the JVC SU-DH-1 and it works great with games. I also own the Astro Gaming Mix Amp which allows you to use voice chat along with it unlike the JVC which doesn't. To me the JVC sounds better but there isn't a night and day difference. The JVC has more bass but I think thats because the JVC...

    New Portable Amp By DECWARE

I love the bass of the Zen Head. When I listened to it lying down and completely relaxed I could feel the bass in my body which amazed the hell out of me. I never knew headphones could do that.

    New Portable Amp By DECWARE

I bought mine in December but unfortunately it was stolen last week from me at work . I'm very upset about that. Anyway, mine did not have that "A/B" switch you speak of. My circuit board was, I believe, version 2 because the two 100 ohm resistors behind the headphone jack were removed.

    New Portable Amp By DECWARE

I believe your talking about the input impedance switch that is located behind the volume knob. From what I've read and have been told the switch should be set to the 10k position for portable audio sources that don't play loud enough such as DAPs and portable CDP's. The 32k position is used...

    Sansa Fuze LODs?

How is it hooked up in the second photo? Obviously the 1st one is connected to the dock and the 3rd is hooked to your woo via the Zu but, I cant make out how it's connected in the second photo.

    New Portable Amp By DECWARE

I haven't tried the Zen Head with the GS 1000 but I've tried it with the RS-1 and RS-2's and have to say that they both sounded good through it. The Grados are known for there highs which for me I'm not a big fan of but when matched with this amp they were tamed a bit. I preferred the RS-2's...

    HA-RX700 sibilance and fatiguing sound?

You are not alone. I too am hearing this as well. It may be because I'm not using a quality head amp but the RX700 sounds really sibilant compared to the rest of my headphone line up. The sibilance became more apparent after putting on the AD900 pads. With the stock pads it sounds less...

    RX900 Vs. AD700 - Unamped, Gaming/Music?

Oh, and the RX700's are semi-open which makes the sound stage pretty wide. I know the packaging doesn't say they are semi-open but, the phones leak noise and you can hear yourself speak quite clearly. If you look in the space between the outside cup with the JVC logo and the chrome ring you can...

    RX900 Vs. AD700 - Unamped, Gaming/Music?

What are you gaming on? Console or PC? If it's a console and since your on a budget I would go with the HA-RX700 modded with lightly stuffed AD900 pads and a JVC SU-DH1 dolby headphone amp/adapter. Your total? Around $140.00 give or take before tax and shipping. Oh yeah I forgot the cost of...

JVC HA-RX900 modifications, a picture tutorial. (56k, forget about it...)

I've owned the 700's for a week now and at first they seemed OK. They were good with electronica, pop and hip hop but for rock it was a bit too bassy. The bass was a little too much, the highs were recessed and the mids as well making the overall sound muddy. Today I started experimenting with 2...

Best headphones for use with Dolby Headphone?

I own the JVC Dolby Headphone amp, Audio Technical AD900's, and a pair of HD600's. The JVC device works perfectly for games transmitting 5.1 audio. To me it does not sound like a tin can unless you set it to DH3. The sound produced sounds as if it is outside of your head. Very convincing. Now...

Gaming headphones for 100$ (for surround)

I highly recommend the AD700's. Great set for your stated budget. As for sound cards I cant comment on those. Don't know much about them but, I have heard Dolby Headphone and can vouch for it's great performance.

Gaming headphones for 100$ (for surround)

I used the Trittons for about a year as well as the Turtle Beach sets and I use to think they were a godsend. I shrugged off suggestions about using stereo headphones because they were better for gaming when mated to a surround sound decoder but, boy was I wrong. Stereo headphones, a good set...

    A newborn needing answers...

Hi everyone: I'm new to this forum and the hobby. Just ordered a pair of HD600's. Anyway, can you connect a headphone amp from the headphone jack of a receiver and then headphones to the headphone amp or do I have to plug the headphone amp to a "Pre-Amp" output? Also, is it OK to connect 2...
