Thanks guys. I guess I'll wait a little while to see if one pops up, or may be build one/have somebody build one for me. The Moth 2A3 being able to power efficient speakers is a real plus. Actually my cousin uses it to power his Fostex speakers.

Pad it using a few layers of tissue then use pliers, be careful to pull out in only one direction and do not rock sideways, because that may cause damage. That's what I did.

I've had this experience, even with a used tube. One of my 6AS7's has a very strong hiss on the left channel that has to do with the way the tube is plugged in, when I carefully 'roll' it a little bit to one side, the noise totally disappears.
