IMO, the Bose IE are very overpriced and have WAY too much bass which overshadows vocals and higher instruments, making a very muffled sound. I do, however, like the fit and comfort.

Now that you've joined and posted, you may as well upgrade to UE-10 pros and HE90s... But seriously, the main suggestion you will be getting for something that lets in sound is the Koss KSC75. It is a clip-on, said to rival $60+headphones, for ~20.

All my local stores are overpriced with a very limited selection, so what is the cheapest place to find CD's online? I'm open to those "buy one get three free" type offers...

I would make the same reccomendation as above, but with the ep630s and ksc75s.

Money is no object, so i want to say "I have the best in ear headphones available", not "I have a decent pair of clip-on headphones that are a great value".

Of course, you could think about it like: I want ibuds, and they only come with an ipod, so i will buy the ibuds for $250 and throw away the ipod that the buds come with. Which would make them the overall worst value in headphones (Or are there worse $250 headphones?)

I guess i would say the UE-10 Pro, just because i'm not an audiophile and custom IEMs seem like as good as it could get for me. Unless there are any customs better than the 10pros.

What would you say are the best headphones ever made, price-no-object. I know its subjective, but if you could have any one pair of headphones to use most of the time, what would it be?

When you pay nothing for something, no matter how good or bad it is, it is an infinitely good value. The nothing that you paid for the ibuds gives you infinite value per dollar. This only applies if you got them free w/ ipod, btw.

I would use some of the $$$ from selling off your least favorites to buy a pair of UE10Pro IEMs, or other customs. for great comfort and sound portably.
