What are the best EARBUDS (please no KSC-75 recs, I know it's good, I have one), but I want some earbuds. What are the best ones to buy from the $10-15 range. I know there's not much, but I know there's the Senns MX400-500. Which Senn is the best? Are there any other options? Thanks.

The cheapest earbud that is at least decent is the Yuin PK3 for $35. If that's too much, the JVC FX-33 (Marshmallow), usually found for under $20, is your best bet. It's a canalphone, which is somewhere in between an earbud and an IEM, and it sounds pretty decent.

The trouble with stuff from the $10-15 range is that it's only going to be a slight improvement over stock buds. In fact, some of the earbuds from that range are literally just the brand name versions of OEMed stock buds (Rio used to use rebranded Sennheisers, for example).

You probably would be better off spending a bit more and going for something like the Yuin PK3, or a cheap IEM or canalphone.

MX400 is probably the best traditional earbud you'll find. The MX500 is only more expensive because it has a volume control. If you don't mind something a little deeper in your ear, maybe try Koss' "The Plug" or the JVC "Marshmallow". Or save a few bucks and get something that actually sounds good, AKA Yuin PK3.

JVC Gumy Buds sounded shrill to me, lacking bass, but they weren't drop dead terrible. Same with the Sony MDRE818/828 models.

I'd spend $15 and get the MX400. MX500 is supposed to be the same with volume control, but I've read one or two places they aren't.

Save your money and get some JVC HA-FX33's or Koss Plug/Sparkplug. Save alittle more and get Yuin PK3 or EP-630's

Dude, there is one any only one right answer to your question: Monoprice 8320 ($7-$9, and they easily rival the $50-$100 range).

Monoprice 8320s are good, but you're better off spending a few more bucks for JVC HA-FX40 (I got mine for $13). They are leagues better.
