Ideas on the problem with my Ety ER-4S?
are your levels too reasonable? if an amp is operating at low output levels, it's not uncommon for the balance to be off. i had the same problem when i started using more power-hungry speakers with my computer. if possible, decrease the output from source, and increase the level of...- wrhawk

Best and Worst Remake of Song:
I'm pretty fond of Madeleine Peyroux's cover of Elliott Smith's 'Between the Bars.' If you're at all a fan of Elliott's, i'd recommend checking it out. -
Star Wars: Legacy Edition
Well, his spirit is commendable, but this: http://starwarslegacy.com/site/image...ve_Hallway.jpg is taking it to the point of obsession. Quote: Originally Posted by YngwieJMalmsteen ...I'm happy with the old blue box remastered VHS. Likewise. The quality, for me, is fine...- wrhawk

IEM Horror Story
Hey wake, I've had a similar experience, though it mine was a bit more intentional. Living in the dorms last year, my RA informed me that there would be a scheduled fire drill at 9pm one evening. So what do i do? 8:55 rolls around, i load up my headroom bag with my pcdp and amp, turn on...- wrhawk

weight gainer
To offer another suggestion, the best tasting gainer i've found is chocolate Heavyweight Gainer 900. If you care about the nutrition facts there should be a tab at the link. My favorite way to drink this one is to take 2C of milk and blend it with 10-12 ice cubes until you get a nice...- wrhawk

Whos your favorite Actor/Actress and why?
I was all set to say "Anthony Hopkins, hands down." Until Bill Murray was brought up. I adore them both, and as long as i'm compromising my entry, i've got to add Spacey and Blanchett onto the list as well. I'm such a sell out. Top films featuring: Titus - A.Hopkins Coffee and Cigarettes...- wrhawk

What's your favorite Beer?
North Coast's Old Stock Ale, and Bell's Oberon rank as some of the best for me, but as a rather stock, more easily attained beer is concerned, i'll always take a Newcastle Brown.- wrhawk

Has any of you tried Google Earth?
Downloaded it yesterday but used it for the first time today. It's much faster than the online version that can be controlled through google maps, and streamed pretty seamlessly (over standard-fair cable). Being able to adjust the tilt is neat, i guess, but as there's no topographical info, it's...- wrhawk

Photography Enthusiasts, Post Your Best Picture Here !
Well the best of my most recent photos would have to have been up in the boundary waters. I just brought a point and shoot (Canon SD100), and Minnesota's topography is nothing to write home about, but i like the colors of this sunset: There's some really great stuff in this thread, but i've...- wrhawk
