Turning off volume on ipod classic
My classic has the same. Audible sound at 0% volume from the HO. This does not bother me at all. As other have stated thats what pause is for- viper32

Well bad measurements or not, my classic with UE-5c's and the headphone out sounds superb to me. I personally think that out of the 5 other ipods I own it sounds the best by far from the headphone out. Now remember I have only tried this with my UE-5's. iPod Classic!
I just got home with my new 80gb Classic. Cant wait to get some music on it. So I have a 60gb 5g, 80gb 5.5g, and a 80gb 6g. I have a "touch" on order. will need to see how they compare. The 80gb classic is very thin compared to the 5.5g 80gb. To all that have bought the classic so far, I hope...- viper32

The Tomahawk...an ultra-portable amplifier for IEMs
Tomahawk in the house. Number 049 arrived today. Very Small Amp for sure. Makes my 5.5g ipod look like a full size CDP. I love it so far. The construction quality is Class A.
