Still rocking the Indigo with effect audio Cleopatra II cable. Been more on a tube buying spree than cable. Haven’t heard of the Canpur 622B going have to check it out.

I think the custom does a bit of both helps with having a better fit that should add to a more uniform sound quality. The cons are resale value and in some case you’re ear canals might change shape as you age.

I’m not a 100 percent sure on this answer, but think it would have blown the fuse or tube before causing damage to the preamp. If working I wouldn't stress over it. Glad to hear you like the preamp I love the sound of mine. Currently using Sophie 274b and 3 amperex 7308 tubes in mine.
