it depends on you DAP or Amp to which you connect your headphone. I have done the conversion for an earbud and a 150 Ohm headphone using 2.5 mm plugs because the Balanced output of the DAC/AMP is 2.5mm... and for me it was worth it. The DAc drives the earbud and even more so the Sennheiser...

Like TwinACStacks I think the Mulas is not bad sounding but is nothing special compared to the Zircons,.. and I have yet to see anyone say otherwise here. As said before Zircons are fun sounding and not reference level. skip the mula. changing the tips, or source will do nothing worth

I have been using XDuoo X2 for a couple of months before it decided to die. Meanwhile I ordered the ONN X5 that I received some days ago. It has an internal memory of 8GB and supports micro SD card. It does not come with earphone or iem.   The X5 screen is quite nice and is at least 4 times...

 I guess any type of crossover is very hard to get right. I would personally have preferred a pure BA IEM from Xiaomi as it would be have been easier tuned for a specific purpose, but they preferred the hype/marketing/easy route. Can't blame them though, they target volume sales not niche market.
